Happy May! This podcast will me speaking about my May goals and I hope it gives you motivation to start some goals for this new month.
COVID-19 has changed all of our lives. Some of us are mourning, some of us are unmotivated, some of us are mentally and emotionally not here. Just know that we are all in this together. We are all struggling in our own ways. I am here for you.
In this podcast I speak about San Juanita Garcia’s article, “Racializing “Illegality”: An Intersectional Approach yo Understanding How Mexican-origin Women Navigate an Anti-immigrant Climate.” Not every one is the same. Mexicans are Hispanic, but not all Hispanics are Mexicans. I encourage all my Latinx people to keep speaking Spanish in public spaces, and to those Caucasian American individuals who speak Spanish in public and are applaud for it, educate others about this unfairness. Thanks everyone!
