2. Have you (or someone close to you) ever experienced the relentless hatred of Satan first hand? How were you able to see Jesus’
relentless love even in the midst of Satan’s attack?
3. Have you ever witnessed someone’s downfall due to pride? What have you learned from witnessing such a downfall?
Digging Deeper
1. Read Ephesians 6:11-18. According to Paul, what tools has God given the believer to combat the relentless attacks of the enemy?
At what point are the tools rendered useless? What makes the tools the most effective?
2. Read Revelation 12:11 and Romans 8:31-39. How is the believer able to find victory over the enemy? What can derail one’s
victory in Jesus? What steps can a follower of Christ take to ensure they are walking victoriously?
3. Read Zechariah 3:1-5. In what way is Zechariah a type of the believer? What did Jesus do for Zechariah in the face of accusation?

Describe a time when someone broke a promise to you and the effect of that broken promise.
Has there ever been a time when you narrowly escaped a catastrophe or an accident? Describe the incident and the emotions invoked by the event.
Digging Deeper
Read Zechariah 12:10-14, Romans 11:25-27 and Isaiah 43:10-12. What do these passages teach us about Israel’s position as God’s chosen people?
Read Psalm 91:3-10, Ephesians 1:13-14 and Romans 8:31-39. What do these passages tell us about God’s protection and His plan for believers?
Read 2 Corinthians 6:11-18. What does this passage teach us about God’s expectations for a believer?
Taking it Home
Is there anything that is standing in the way of your complete assurance that you will be standing among the multitude described in Revelation 7? How might you live from this point forward in the complete assurance of God’s plan and His protection?
How will you identify and set aside the things that might be hindering your ability to fully serve God this week?
How will knowing that everyone will one day stand before God (either being judged or having been saved) affect the way you witness to your loved ones?

From Pastor Chris’ message this week, share with the group one thing that you had never heard before.

As the seals are broken, in what way are you able to see God’s mercy, yet also see His holiness and justice displayed in His wrath? How are the two (mercy and justice) related?
Read Revelation 6:15-‐17. In this passage the people try to hide themselves from the outpouring of wrath. What does Psalm 139:7-‐12 teach us about their effort?
3. Read Daniel 9:8-‐16, Zechariah 1:7-‐17 and 6:1-‐8, and Luke 21:10-‐28. What do these passages have in common with chapter
6 of Revelations? List any parallels that you see. Why is it important to use scripture to understand other scripture?

In our passage we discover that our freewill results in one of two responses in the face of tribulation: repentance or rebellious resistance. How will you prepare to have a correct response when trials and tribulations rise up in your life?
Why do we need to study this book of Revelation? As we learn about the coming wrath, what effect might what you know have on your daily life?
When the Antichrist comes he will bring a counterfeit promise of peace. How can you know true peace? How can you help others define and recognize true peace?
