It's obviously the End of the church age. The kingdom age is next. This is probably the main reason why the drastic changes are occurring. Everything that is not truly God's plan including religious influences will eventually fade away.
it's not possible for one to be spiritual and unbiblical. weather one realizes this or not....the truth of the God of the Universe isn't found merely in one narrow cultural theology. The difference between divisive religious traditions vs. The Lord is One?
Question: When you say "apostate". are you referring strictly to a western evangelical "Christian" apostasy? or the Truth of Christ which,in essence,has already occurred in the religious world?
To be absent from the Body and present with the Lord ....verse is not talking about separation of soul from body ,nor is this chapter at all a discussion on ones physical death or "death of the body"...in a literalism. Actually,this chapter(2 *Cor.5), isn't even about death,but just the opposite! This chapter is a metaphorical parallel of RESSURRECTION....!!!!(Compare 1 Corinthians 15, and Romans chpts.6-8.) No condemnation. see also Hebrews 2....The misunderstanding lies in the fact that these chapters are being interpreted outside of the Eternal Now or the Eternal IAm...perspective,and brought into the reality of the natural mind.,rather than from the nonduality of the perspective that Ressurection is a reality and not a "future eschatology"....,"each in his own order"...
