It can take your ministry outside of the church walls! It can reach people all over the world just by simply hitting upload. It can reach an audience that "wouldn't be caught dead in a church"...!Sounds a lot like street preaching right?Well, it also sounds a lot like podcasting! And podcasting is fairly new but they are about to become as mainstream as any other form of media out there! News outlets, to comedians, to tech reviewers, to educational networks all use podcasts. And the audience for it is rapidly growing! In fact, in 2006, only 22% of consumers knew what a podcast was, but by 2019 over 64% of consumers were aware of podcasting. So today we're talking about how our churches can use this new popular type of media as a valuable resource to do ministry, beyond just posting your sermons!CHURCH WORK:http://churchwork.coSUPPORT MY VIDEOS ON PATREON:https://www.patreon.com/churchtodaySupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/churchtoday)
With the very first website being created in 1991, websites are kinda like dinosaurs! (At least when compared to mobile apps and social media.) It can be tempting to think "Well websites are kind of the old way of doing things. We should use social media and a church app instead to stay relevant."But before you do that let's remember that it's more important to look at facts and data than to blindly follow what's popular. Let's talk about why!The Quick Fix to Make a Visitor Friendly Church Websitehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoxLb2xTj6sSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/churchtoday)

It’s only natural that Christians would have their own words and phrases. After all, we have a whole history that we can reference. Using these terms has advantages like efficiency and the ability to have deeper, more specific conversations with one another. However, using some of these words can be a little isolating when saying them to people who are new to the church or new in their faith. So today we’re discussing some of the terms that we as churches say but many times don’t think twice about.https://facebook.com/groups/churchtodaypodcastSUPPORT THE PODCAST ON PATREON:https://www.patreon.com/churchtodaySupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/churchtoday)
I'd guess for the most part we all agree that the act of worshiping God is hugely important! The bible says that if we don't cry out in worship the rocks will. So there's no debate there. However, the question remains, what does that look like? Is there a biblical type of worship? Is there a format or a structure we need to follow? Is it stripped down with just an organ or just a guitar? Or can it be with a full band with moving lights and haze machines?JOIN THE CONVERSATION:https://www.facebook.com/groups/churchtodaypodcastSUPPORT THE PODCAST ON PATREON:https://www.patreon.com/churchtodayCHURCH MEDIA SQUAD:http://smartdezign.church/squadSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/churchtoday)

Scripture points us toward a loving God who is willing to forsake the 99 in order to go after the one who is lost. Who is willing to go to the ends of the earth to draw the lost back to Him. The same should be said for your church. But unfortunately, it’s so easy for us to cater and create a church for the people already inside, the 99. So today we are looking at some of the warning signs to see if your church is focusing on the 99 over the 1.
