Last week, Dane County finalized and approved its 2026 budget, which includes $825.6 million in operating funds and $90.5 million in capital investments. Cannabis is illegal in Wisconsin, but you can buy hemp-derived THC drinks, edibles, vapes, and even prerolls at several stores all over Madison. That’s because these products fall through a legal loophole and are largely unregulated.
