Ever have that check engine light come on and think, “I’ll deal with that later”? We experience real healing and freedom when we do the same thing spiritually—confession helps us stop ignoring the warning signs, get honest with God, and experience real healing and freedom.
Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is step away from the noise and make space to hear from God. Jesus made solitude a rhythm in His life, and we can do the same by putting down the phone, getting quiet, and simply praying, listening, and being with God.
What if following Jesus doesn’t mean adding one more thing to your already busy day, but simply inviting Him into the life you’re already living? The little things we do over and over can become holy habits that help us stay close to God and create a path that leads us—and the people around us—toward Jesus.
Church isn’t just a place we go on Sunday—it’s a family that helps us grow, encourages us, and reminds us that we don’t have to do this faith journey alone. We kicked off our new series, Sacred Rhythms, by talking about the holy habit of making church a consistent part of our lives—not just attending, but truly belonging.
We all want to be happy, but what if we’ve been chasing the wrong things to find happiness? Money, success, relationships, and accomplishments can be good things to enjoy, but they were never meant to give our lives meaning—only God can do that.
