‘Queer Enough: an honest conversation stereotypes, screen time, and self-definition’
About Voices of Us:
'Voices of Us' (VOU) is a podcast that shares authentic stories from LGBTQIA+ international students, alumni and allies.
In this episode of Voices of Us, queer international creatives from the film industry, Ayuka and Patitta, reflect on how media shaped — and sometimes distorted — their sense of identity. From first queer glimpses to global cultural gaps, this conversation peels back the layers of representation: what sticks, what’s missing, and what still needs to be told. Whether you’ve seen "yourself" on screen or not, this episode invites you to think about how media not only reflects queerness — but also performs, pressures, and sometimes rewrites it.
