Was born 22 years ago in a small town called Newcastle (Kwa-Zulu Natal), ClassiQ fell in love with music at the tender age of 7 which developed his love for music by listening the radio. Growing up ClassiQ was exposed to mostly soul ful music, listening to artists such as Luther Vandross, Kenny Latimore, Donell Jones Tevin Cambell . When he was 12 he started collecting cassettes collecting music in any genre from Jazz to Gospel to soul and even funk. ClassiQ's love for house started in 2002 when a friend of his brought him a house afrika compilation, the compilation had names such as Dennis Ferrer, DJ Gregory, Matt Samo the list was endless that's when the house music bug bit him and started collecting house music especially Mid-Tempo. In 2004 ClassiQ moved to Johannesburg to seek greener pastures and follow his passion which was music, started producing music in 2006 the middle of 2006 ClassiQ was already producing for artists around the area where he used to stay and continued making music for other up and coming artists in 2007 he joined a hip hop group and started producing beats for the group unfortunately the group did not last long end of 2007 ClassiQ completed his matric and now wanted to focus on his music so in 2008 he studied sound engineering (Music Production) and by this time he was already remixing songs for artists. In 2009 ClassiQ fell in love with the art of Deejaying and he started playing at small functions, parties and even weddings. ClassiQ's is known for his Afro deep/soulful/tribal sounds and is influenced by life and nature and that which has captured his audience over the years. Towards the end of 2009 ClassiQ opened his record label/Music production house company which he owns with his close friend KaySoul and called it Landmark Entertainment which for him symbolized growth as a music producer and also as an up and coming business man. By the end of 2009 Landmark had signed their 1st artist singer/songwriter Divine. In 2010 ClassiQ signed another artist from his home town Madadeni born house producer/dj Authentic Soul who still has to release his offering underneath the label.
