Ashlee from Macabre Maidens Metalcast and Kevin from the Jesus Unfollower Podcast and online community join the conversation for our first deep dive into religious discourse.Despite our nun-themed podcast, we've surprisingly waited until now to tackle such a poignant topic. Together, we explore Sister Bella, Ashlee, and Kevin’s religious backgrounds and the pivotal moments that led them to leave their respective faith systems and churches. We delve into the subjects of religious trauma, faith-based guilt and fear, and the liberating experience of living without the constraints of organized religion.Kevin also sheds light on his vibrant online community of atheists, agnostics, and fellow Jesus unfollowers, offering a supportive space for those navigating life post-religion. And for a touch of humor, we wrap up our discussion with some surprisingly risqué Bible verses.Whether you're post-religion or seeking a community of like-minded individuals, this episode is a must-listen. Tune in for an honest, heartfelt, and occasionally humorous conversation about finding freedom and community beyond faith. Greetings, my beloved flock! This is Sister Ash, here to guide you through another divine episode of Clergy Talk. We explored the sacred art of tattooing, discovering the stories and inspirations behind his intricate designs. The conversation then ascended to the celestial realms of his musical endeavors with his band Folterkammer. Brother Brendan shared some captivating tales from other music videos he has graced with his presence. Truly, his creativity knows no bounds! Part Two: Ghostly Roles and Unholy Antics 👻🎬 With spirits high, we delved into Brendan’s role as Terzo. Ever curious about the behind-the-scenes happenings of a Ghost music video? Brother Brendan revealed all, sharing enlightening details and amusing antics from the set. We even discussed the fate of his iconic white suit from the "He Is" video, which was auctioned for a heavenly sum. His reaction to this revelation is nothing short of divine! Our curious nun hosts, Sister Ash and Sister Bella, sat down with Deanna Miller to discuss her ADHD diagnosis, and how being neurodiverse effects her interests and hobbies. Deanna is a Ghost fan, but her interests span beyond-- from Movies, to video games, painting, and diving into other music. Deanna was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 12, then later re-diagnosed at 27. Listen, watch, and learn along with your curious nun hosts! I'd like to extend a heartfelt apology to our viewers for the screen quality of this Gospel. There was an issue with WIFI, which my recording platform couldn't rectify, and it caused my screen and my guest's screen to have poor visual quality. The issue was fixed in our following Gospels.
