Clever Ramblings

In this episode, we debate whether Kanye West’s mental issues excuse his recent problematic behaviors (0:55) & then shift to discuss traveling during COVID as M recently went on vacation in Greece (18:35) with our usual dose of rambling.

Heeeelllllloooooo!!! We’re back again after a long hiatus, mostly due to COVID-19 but also because we’re lazy 😅. For today’s episode, we try to keep it short with two topics. First, we discuss the elephant in the room, COVID-19 and how Germany and the UK have handled it (1:30). Last, but not least, we have some big announcements regarding our futures in academia (35:51). Hope you enjoy!

We’re baaaaaaaaackkkk!!!! To mark our return, we first explain why we took such a long break (warning: it gets kinda dark 😂) and then we discuss some of our goals for 2020.

We have a special treat for you this episode. We decided to record while Ivan drank a bottle of wine 😂. Therefore, Ivan is a little bit more unfiltered this time around. As far as topics, we discussed Kim Kardashian studying to become a lawyer (1:17), whether people are able to make mistakes and grow in today’s society or are they forever tied to their past(13:45), and the importance of using persuasion when trying to change people’s minds on important issues(31:20). As Kylie Jenner is now offically the youngest "self-made" billionaire, we will give our thoughts on what we think it means to be self-made(5:00). Now its official the EU passes Article 13, which raises alot of concerns, how it will change the internet in a negativ way. As we both are not to happy about it, we give our oppnion on how it will change the way we use the internet forever and if banning in general is a solution or makes things even worse (19:47). Lastly we will get a little more personal, by telling our stories, on how we got interestet in science and were we would like to see ourselves in the future (39:05).
