Mac picked up a golf club for the first time at the age of 18, and is fully self-taught when it comes to his unique skill set. After a brain cyst forced him to give up all the sports he grew up playing, golf became his passion and number one priority. He worked with Sean Foley to perfect his game, and started playing professionally in Canada. His professional career slowed down in 2017, when he moved to New Zealand to become a teaching professional. During COVID, when teaching slowed down, he transitioned more into golf content creation, making all sorts of social media content around his unique golf game. After grinding to gain a significant following, Mac is now a well-known golf creator, and has one of the largest golf-based followings in all of Canada! Mac and the guys discuss his journey to becoming a self-taught pro, how he broke into the realm of content creation, the increased crossover between professional athletes and golf, and all sorts of different events and tournaments that he has coming up in the near future. After a brief hiatus, the guys are back for another episode, catching up on everything that's been going on for the last few weeks. For starters, Blake and his family spent the last few weeks traveling across the U.S. From movie premieres in Los Angeles to attending the ESPYs in NYC, the stories from his time away are must-hear. Blake recalls memories from his trips, including some run-ins with big-name celebrities on the red carpet at the ESPYs. A few weeks ago, Pins and Aces hosted their annual social golf tournament in Denver at Willis Case Golf Course. The guys discussed the success of the tournament, the winning scores, and even some controversy around a multi-team tie once all the scores were turned in. Either way, the tournament was a hit and drew an awesome crowd!
