Terrific insight into the access of our tools and embracing our shadows with Juliet Humphrey. Juliet Humphrey has been studying the Enneagram for a decade, learning from some of the world’s foremost teachers from both the Narrative Tradition (Enneagram Professional Training), the Enneagram Institute and from others, particularly those who received this knowledge directly from esteemed Enneagram leaders like Claudio Naranjo. In 2018, Juliet participated in his symposium on the character of self-actualised beings. Juliet is now accredited with the International Coaching Federation through Integrative Enneagram Solutions.Juliet supports couples, though often the women come to her first, through the  profound and yet practical wisdom of the ancient Enneagram of personality and Essence in their relationships...bringing to light for partners their unconscious values and beliefs so that they can find deeper connection where there was disconnection, clarity where there was confusion and the original spark is ignited and protected. Additionally, Juliet is a goal mapping coach. Misha Safran is an Academic Life Coach and a Parenting Coach. What a delightful interview this was!!! Today Gabriel Valentino was my featured guest!Gabriel Valentino is the Founder of Umami Memories: Savoring, Story, Song, & Soul. Born into a family of Panamanian immigrants in the Chicagoland area where he currently calls home, Valentino grew to discover that he loved the elation of delicious food, the transformative spirit of music, the evocative magic of words, and the celebration of cultures. The experiences born from when those loves blended eventually became fond memories that would warm the Soul for a lifetime. The desire to capture and share those memories led to the creation of Umami Memories. In his spare time, Valentino makes his own “Umami Memories”, inspired by the excitement of exploring neighborhoods on a leisurely day, the swell of happiness at the birth of a clever or insightful phrase, the serendipity of connecting with people, the bliss of discovering or writing an astounding song, and the euphoric transcendence experienced from a soulful meal.Gabriel referenced the following book: Walk Two Moons by Sharon CreechAnd the line he sang at the end was from Abbey Lincoln's Throw it awayYou can find Gabriel on Instagram :www.instagram.com/umamimemories@UmamiMemoriesAnd, listen to his podcasts:https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/umami-memories-savoring-story-song-soul/id1534674900 Misha Safran is an Academic Life Coach and a Parenting Coach. Today, I had the delightful opportunity to interview Lexy Sophia, a young and compassionate singer/songwriter and community helper! Part way through this interview, Lexy accepted my invitation to sing her single called "vulnerability" acappela. Very moving lyrics! Thank you Lexy!  Lexy has been singing for over 10 years but grew up with a love for music.  She was born into a musical family, and took lessons within her household.  She has performed at legendary venues, such as The Bitter End in New York City and Newark Symphony Hall; Lexy grew up in the small town of Demarest, New Jersey where she was trained classically, through choirs such as the NJ All-State Choir, among touring with the Voices of Praise Gospel Choir.Lexy would describe her sound as very eclectic. Lexy Sophia also released her first single in 2018, called “Vulnerability”, and is currently working on her EP. She loves to perform in small and intimate community settings, as well.  She serves disabled individuals at an adult daycare, in Southern California, where she teaches many of them by helping them through the power of music. Finally, she is a Worship Singer at Northeast of Well, and a proud member of Artists United. Lexy's mission is to inspire others who have been through similar struggles, lifting those who feel unheard and helping them to feel less alone.  This is her vision which she has started to establish through her radio show, known as  "The Music Mission.”You can follow Lexy Sophia on Instagram - her handle is @lexysophiaMisha Safran is an Academic Life Coach and a Parenting Coach.
