Sorry to be getting this out so late. But we will be back just like the Terminator.
Come along as we get invited to Dracula's spooky Castle. Rose learns that Axe throwers suck, Death is a jerk who takes your weapons away, but the jumping feels real good. Also would it kill Dracula to put some sandwiches around his Castle geez.
Let's just say we found Rose's type of game and it's Deck-Builder Rougelikes. So come along as we climb the spire and fight off crow cultists, get buffs from a whale, and emerge victorious? I mean Rose beat a run on her second try; Inscyption changed her I tell you.
It's time to spread "Managed Democracy" and join the Helldivers. Look guys we did a recent game for once and had Rose join the ranks of Super Earths main fighting force. Come along as we enjoy the vibes, the music and summoning fiery death to all of Super Earth's enemies. Also occasionally to ourselves; but what do you do am I right?
This one ended up long folks with some minor story "Spoilers" if you worry about that. Also there is a few criticisms on what actually constitutes gliding, why are our 10 year old legs so weak, and a full on rant about sandwiches. Oh and Rose questions whether or not Ed Sheeran play Pokémon....so pretty fun episode.
Time to get Rose warmed up for Adventure-RPGs so let's start with a classic Fable II. Come along as Rose kicks some chickens, runs into walls, and has a very good discussion about how we like to get our narrative fixes in life. Also side note you can swim and run ridiculously fast in this game.
We are back with our first game of the New Year! Rose has steadily increased her gaming experience and is ready for an early access game. Slime Rancher 2 takes us back to the wonderfully colorful slime filled paradise of Rainbow Island. We discover new slimes, gameplay improvements, and flooding the Plort market for sweet sweet money.
Hello fellow Co-op Players Matt and Rose are back and ready to take a look at all we did this last year. We also talk about games we are excited for and what we played during our break. I'll give you one guess what Rose Played and it wasn't Monster Hunter this time...
This time Rose has to become a vault hunter on the dangerous planet of Pandora. We learn about deadly alien dogs, psychotic bandits, and how Rose now has a fear of flying enemies. Also Rose has a lot of trouble remembering video game names even ones she loves.
Announcement- Taking a Holiday break.
Matt is at it again trying to find a RPG that Rose will like. Maybe Monster Hunter will trick her this time. Come along as we learn about being Riders instead of Hunters, but don't worry we still beat up other monsters for their parts. Also learn how horrible it feels to have to say Monstie....... blech.
Time to set sail and find some treasure in the dangerous waters of the Sea of thieves. Man the cannons and open the sails as we learn to deal with the dangerous threats of Skeleton Pirates, other players and stopping the boat before ramming the island. Also it is so satisfying to dig for treasure chests.
Time for Rose to dip her toes into one of the greatest SNES RPGs of all time. Let's see if we can find another RPG that Rose will actually like this time. We learn about the Dream Team, poofy pants, and how funny it is when you get to name the main character BadBoi.
Come Join Matt and Rose with the experience known as The Stanley Parable. Follow that adventure line as we talk about what makes a "game", do we really have any choice, and fun meta commentary on games in general. Rose got real fired up this time.
We send Rose on a journey through the a quite literal Hell, filled with ghosts, skeletons, and monsters. Come along and get to know various gods and try to understand why they are all so sexy. Also we definitely give pets to the bestest boy Cerberus.
Time to travel to a mystical land of Dragons and Dungeons. . . . . or is it the other way around? Either way you'll have to level up along the way. Come along as Rose learns about being a Mushroomancer, how dangerous strange goblin drinks are, and Just like playing D&D this game is better with friends. Also Matt gives his seal of approval to a TV series.
Do you hate giant ants? Are huge spiders leaving web all over your neighborhood? What about pesky 3 story tall bipedal frogs shooting laser guns wrecking your picnics? Then you need to Join the Earth Defense Force! So join us as you learn how to shoot and shoot and shoot some more in this seeming endless third person shooter. Seriously there are A LOT of bugs in this one.
Let's throw some barrels and grab some bananas this episode as we explore Donkey Kong Country for the SNES. We start chipping away at Rose's lack of SNES experience, exclaim how cute Diddy Kong is and hate on armadillos. Also rose gets a little help from a guest in the second half.
We take Rose to a Mushroom Kingdom mixed up with Rabbids, also Mario has guns. Come along as we learn about a sassy Rabbid Peach, amazing combat, and surprising depth this game has. Hey when are we gonna see Mario and the gang just getting to chill.
