Description
Hey it's Coach Micah! The Fit Project Podcast was founded on the belief that fitness and weight loss does not need to be complicated. In today's day and age, with the internet and all the information that it provides it can be very confusing. Personal trainers and influencers love to over complicate the process of getting in shape to make it seem like they are smarter and they have all the answers that no one else has. Well that's not the case! Fitness is actually not complicated and that's what this podcast is about!!
At the age of 15 I discovered the ability to alter my physique using exercise in the form of strength training. It did not just change my physique, it changed my mindset, and most importantly my life. I gained confidence in myself that as a teenager, I didn't realize was possible. I had more energy daily than I have ever experienced in the past. The gym created an obsession that had me interested in learning more. I grew interest in self improvement, which led to better habits in all aspects of my daily life. It kept me from getting into the video game rabbit whole as a teenager. Which can lead to poor posture, mental heath and nutritional choices. 13 Years later I am still chasing ways to self improve so that I can better help others with their own journey.
Tune in to The Fit Project Podcast every single Friday for fitness tips I have used to help over 1000 people implement exercise and proper nutrition into their daily lives to make them feel sexy again!

Today's episode is all about the importance of hardship. Some of us like to stick to what we know what we feel comfortable with and stay within our boundaries. In this weeks episode I am talking about how moving your body is the most basic form of freedom. It's a practice of gratefulness for the gifts and abilities we have been given. In today's episode I am discussing the hardships of losing fat loss. Many of us want the journey to be easy and didn't expect to have to sacrifice so many things. We have to understand that this is a temporary journey to get to where we want to be. We must learn to say no to certain things now to get the benefits we want down the road. If you always do what you've always done, how do you expect to get the things that you don't currently have.IG - micah_foreverfitBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/coach-micah-s-fit-project-podcast--5741147/support.

In today's episode I'm discussing the fundamentals of creating results. With the information available today fitness has become even more confusing. In today's episode I'm going to shine some light on some reasons to not compare your fitness and health journey to anyone else's. In the age of social media it's easy to look at what everyone else has accomplished and judge yourself based on that. So let's talk how about some differences that completely squash the need for comparison.IG - @micah_foreverfitBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/coach-micah-s-fit-project-podcast--5741147/support.
In today's episode, I'm wrapping up the 3-part series on annoying fitness content that's trending lately. This episode focuses on the trend of being super lean—we're talking sub-10% body fat levels. In todays episode we are continueing with part 2 of my 3 part series on what I find super annoying with fitness conent and trends on social media. Today we dive into the discussion on the rise in popularity of Performance Enhancing Drugs to look fit and aesthetic. People have many reasons to try and explain their usage of drugs and exogenous horomones to enhance muscle growth and physical performance. Most of them aren't solid enough to make much sense but we all do dumb things, right? So let's have a little fun with this one!Side Note: I really have no issue at all with anyone who chooses to enhance their results this way. It is just a trend that i noticed increasing over the past 5+ years, and it may have negative reprecussions to certain individuals health down the road.IG @micah_foreverfitBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/coach-micah-s-fit-project-podcast--5741147/support.
In today's episode I am picking off a three part series about three annoying types of social media content in the fitness world. Social media is full of clicks views and comments and it seems like people will post anything that gains traction. Just because something has a ton of interaction and feedback on the post doesn't mean that it's beneficial to anybody in the fitness world. This will be a bit of a jokey episode so try not to take anything that I say too seriously. Sometimes it's nice to sit back and make fun of social media as a whole.
