Description

Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, this show explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Hosted by Brooke Gittings ("Convicted" and "Actual Innocence") and featuring the voice of original Cold Case Files host, Bill Kurtis.

I completely disagree. She's adding psychologic context based on her background and stated up front that there is almost no information about these victims. It is a critique on a society where poverty, race and violence against women is disregarded and therefore serial killers are enabled.

Why is the female narrators voice sped up? it sounds like she's reading the small print after a legal ad.

I skip most of Bill Curtis’ episodes. I like Brooke’s style and tone, it’s unique. I like how she tries to go into a criminal’s mind, not to justify but to understand.

I love Bill Curtis. That’s the only reason why I listened to the podcasts. I have a hard time listening to to Brooke, she’s missing personality...it seems like she reading from a script. No originality. I’ll come back when Bill comes back...

Marwa plus she sounds like she constantly has a cold. not everyone should be a narrator.

The sympathy she shows to this man, and the disregard she shows toward the victims is morally repugnant. This is a very poor quality episode.

diane murphy You can slow the delivery down to a speed that suits you better. I found .08 to be more pleasing to listen to.

holy.... this is the most horrifying case I have heard yet... I know previous cases had things beyond comprehension and immeasurable suffering... but this shocked me so much. I hope all those police officer Assholes got fired and their loves ruined like they ruined those poor kids...
