Sometimes, we're suckers. We get fooled in life, and you're certainly not immune from that as a college coach who recruits. Your prospects mean well, but they are human and have their own selfish priorities in the recruiting process. So, what if they fool you along the way? A better question: What if there were some simple steps you could take to prevent that from happening? In this episode, Dan Tudor talks one-on-one with you about proven steps and strategies to prevent being fooled from happening to you. And you should want to do that, because 'getting fooled' in the process of building your program will result in you not being able to successfully recruit. You're going to LOVE these strategies, Coach. And, they're all proven to work. Questions? Email us at dan@dantudor.com. If you like the show, make sure to give us a five star review, subscribe, and tell other coaches in your department about us! Thanks for listening, Coach.

Brian Cruver is an accomplished tech entrepreneur who has a son that was getting recruited to play D1 football. Watching the process of his evaluation by coaches, and the process they used to take him through the process, surprised him...it seemed haphazard and disorganized. On this episode of the College Recruiting Weekly podcast, we talk to Cruver who has launched the new tech tool called Scorability in the wake of his son's recruiting process. It is designed to give coaches a more precise, measured evaluation tool when scouting and recruiting athletes...and it's pretty cool. Beyond that, he also has some good observations about the process, and what needs to be changed. He'll tell you his thoughts, and outline his new venture, in this episode. It's vital that college coaches at all levels continue to understand how the Name/Image/Likeness landscape is changing on an ongoing basis. Today's show is an example of that evolution and change. Mike Ross is the founder of ConNEXTions, a non-profit that helps high level athletes maneuver the in's and out's of NIL in college, as well as maximizing their earning abilities while they are still in high school. He's a businessman that sees a need outside of the traditional NIL collectives that emerged immediately after the landmark shift in college athletics, and is using his business experience to build another platform to offer athletes. Is this one of the future emerging paths for athletes? And, what does it mean for college coaching, college athletics, and the athletes going through the process? Those the questions we're exploring in this episode. To learn more about Mike Ross and his non-profit organization, go here: https://www.connextions.pro/ Questions about the show? There are several common instances that college recruiters at all level face some very common, very challenging 'push back' questions from their prospects. You know the ones: Things are going nicely, everything's on schedule, and then your prospects pushes back on what you want, when you want it, and how you want the process to go. Which is fine, because they're going through their difficult decision process, and they need some room to think, right? O.K., maybe a little. But we still want coaches to be in control. On this episode, we talk about some common push back coaches are getting, and how to respond to it all in a better way. We hope it helps! Questions? Email us at dan@dantudor.com. In this episode, Dan Tudor explains a proven strategy used for the last two decades by select coaches around the country to build a bank of prospects that they can re-recruit.
