Comicverm

Unfortunately, Comicverm is going on hiatus.  follow Jeffery Carrol on The Back Bedroom https://thebackbedroom.bio.link And Anthony on alonelycritic https://bio.link/alonelycritic

So we thought we'd close the loose ends on Watchmen talk with a Adaptation Reaction episode. (our first one at that) Here we will discuss the differences and similarities between the two and our reaction to how it adapted the original story! was it better? worse? was it accurate? faithful? is it even worth watching??    as always check out our other things below https://bio.link/cineverm https://bio.link/comicverm https://thebackbedroom.bio.link/

This week we are back in normal fashion with the titan that is Watchmen. Regarded as one of the best comics of all time and a staple of comic history. but.. is it still any good? Hear Anthony and Jeffery discuss and dissect and maybe not agree?

On this Mid-Week Ramble we dig into one big ole topic! Why are comics so adaptable? What is it about them that make them so malleable? Does this make comics the apex artform?? and yeah, we actually come up with a good answer!

This week on our second Mid-Week Ramble we discuss many topics, like Alan Moore, Watchmen, Comic Terminology, The state of comics, and why don't people see comics as art?
