The Strangers Reboot released chapter 1 back in 2024 and while one of us watched it we never got around to reviewing it, now here we are with the second one being out and a dreaded third on the horizon. The only way to review the second one was to go back, lay the ground work for the intense lore and hard explanations of truths this sequel will give, what's that, it doesn't do that, its just another movie with a bunch of weird cuts and chase scenes, and the main character acts in a way that's insufferable and makes choices that would be the opposite of what any human being would do in that situation. Okay maybe I'm being a little too harsh, it was at least fun to laugh at in theatres, tune into the review, and if you disagree let us know in the comments. Oh and PS, Please mind the poor audio, we had our mics cut out, it was a whole thing, maybe listen to this one while you drive and blame the weird audio on your car speakers.
We are back don't worry, regular uploads are here, this time with a... amazon prime movie i wanna say, yeah that sounds right. Anyways its got Pete Davidson and Eddie Murphy so its gotta be somewhat entertaining, tune in as Jay explains the plot of The Pickup.
The Long Walk, from the mind of Stephen King, and brought to life on screen by Francis Lawrence (Director of Constantine, I am Legend, ETC ) proved to be uncomfortable, brutal, and captivating all at the same time, hats off to the actors and directors involved for actually making a decent movie.

Neither of us expected F1 to be so good
Elio, may be one of Pixar's worst film to date. We even agreed on it being worse than The Good Dinosaur. Elio is a fine kids movie but offers nothing to the parents who may be bringing said kids to see this film.
Freakier Friday was nostalgic in just about every way possible hitting all the nots and gags of the first movie while also squeezing in a cute end of summer comedy that's enjoyable, Jamie Lee and Lindsay Lohan once again prove they are the queens of body swap comedy movies. I mean i know there are only two of these but its nice how consistent they are with one another.
Especially after those two god awful holiday specials that came out a few years ago, and who doesn't like a Sam Rockwell. Bad Guys 2 doesn't hit the heights of other peak animated films but deserves a watch nonetheless
Together presents a good concept but falls apart due to a cliche and convenient plot structure to get from one creepy scene to the next, the film is good and deserves a watch but just falls a bit short for us to deserve a rewatch or be really hyped about it.

Weapons had a good premise, and decent trailers but did not meet our expectations, were those expectations too high, or was the movie just kind of mid.
