Los Angeles Poet Kyler Nathan IV discusses his second book Piece of Mynd. Throughout the conversation we dissect his themes and ideas behind some of the poems within the book. Nathan, also shares a sneak peak of his newest book, Beneath the Surface. "Kyler Nathan IV is a poet from Los Angeles, California. He is the author of 3 poetry books: 5 South, Piece of Mynd, and Beneath the Surface. His writings are inspired by his journey growing up as a Black male slowly learning who the world has destined him to be. His work challenges normative ways of thinking by encouraging the reader to dig deeper into every emotion they feel and every thought they think.
