In todays episode I'm sitting down with Dr. Nikole Ostrov, a board certified, fellowship-trained gynecologist in NYC, to talk all things birth control. If you've ever wondered about the long-term health implications of being on the pill, or been curious about making the leap to a non-hormonal contraceptive, or if you have questions about the effects of birth control on fertility, then this episode is for you. Dr. Ostrov currently practices privately at Maiden Lane Medical in New York. She has won multiple awards for both her surgical and teaching skills and has been praised for her exceptional bedside manner.
If you’ve ever thought about getting vision correction surgery but have been too scared to go through with it, you’re going want to listen closely. In today’s episode I’m sitting down with doctor Andrew Holzman, a board-certified ophthalmologist and a leader in vision correction surgery, to pick his brain about all things refractive surgery, eye health, and even what happens if you sneeze during a procedure. Dr Holzman is regional medical director of 5 TLC laser eye center locations in the the Washington DC Metro area. In his 25 years of practice he’s performed over 85,000 LASIK, PRK, and other ophthalmologic surgeries. Not to mention he’s operated on some of the most famous athletes eyes, from NFL quarterbacks to MLB pitchers.
In this episode I'm sitting down with Sydney Karp, a board certified physicians assistant who specializes in dermatology in Manhattan. We're talking all things skin care routine, active ingredients you need to be using, and my personal favorite: best drug store skin care products you can confidently use in lieu of the overpriced products. I wouldn't dare leave out injectables, meaning botox, filler, and all that fun stuff. So make sure you stay tuned 'till the end! If you're wondering what a physicians assistant does in dermatology, we certainly discuss that too!
