Description

The truth is rarely the best story. And when it’s not the only story, the truth deserves another look. Every Wednesday, we tell the complicated stories behind the world’s most controversial events and possible cover-ups. Conspiracy? Maybe. Coincidence? Maybe. Complicated? Absolutely. Conspiracy Theories is part of the Parcast Network and is a Cutler Media Production.

Your kowtowing to Scientists is indicative of your being in thrall to Scientism. That is, the irrational belief that always and everywhere Scientists are the most trustworthy people on earth. They are not. See Unit 731 in Manchuria. Scientism is the pathetic religion-substitute for those-- like you-- who have rejected the Judaeo-Christian tradition.

Theosophy was the brainchild of Madame Blavatsky, who with Colonel Olcott was the first Westerner formally to 'take refuge' in Buddhism in Ceylon during the late 1800s. For you to locate Theosophy in the 1700s is gross error.

Condorcet's 'Progress of the Human Spirit' introduced the root stupidity of the 1700s, which USA has perpetuated for its lifetime. Namely, the notion that 'Progress' is ongoing and is unstoppable. Since progress is neither actual nor possible, this root error has poisoned all of history from Condorcet's time to ours.

this podcast is incredibly well written, told unbiased, the two narrators work so well together (ying and yang) and the stories really make me ponder for the rest of the day. even if I don't believe in the subject, it makes me think twice. if I could rate on castbox it would be a 5 star podcast

nice podcast for reported facts, but not too open to conspiracies. They basically read the facts and say, interesting but not true haha. Still a good podcast to learn some neat stuff.

If i introduced someone who had never experienced a podcast before to yours as an ontro... they would get a terrible impreasion on a medium i have got so much joy from. the 'read' of this scripted mess is as if a creative writer handed a script to a couple of announcers and gave the description of the voice over to be bias with the inflections at certain points to make conspiracy theorists to be nut jobs. simply labelling the theories to be those of 'conspiracy theorists' creates a group that you can be bias against. the first more factual based espisode was bareable. the second i wanted to punch something. ron burgandy has more appropriate inflections on his words. and siri has more personallity in her speach. its as if some dude had an idea to make some money and jumped on conspiracy theory bandwagon and did a quick google search... throughs some words on paper and handed it to these 2 that are talking on a topic they have no interest in. to all those that sit through this and are interested. starr by doing some self education. the end part 'go to facebook and tell us your favourite conspiracy theory' is silly. making it somw pop culture thing. The whole point is to be skeptical. dont always trust what you are told. there is always more to these stories and this podcast shuts down the idea of illuminati as 'i cant really see this happening'. do your self a favour and save a couple of hrs by not listening to this.

AlienBOY Unfair. I have criticisms too, but this shotgun-blast of criticism is insufficiently specific.
