In its first case, the Constitutional Court had to decide whether the death penalty was legal.   Mark Oppenheimer interviews Justices Johan Kriegler and Yvonne Mokgoro, who both delivered judgments in the case. For the first time in South African history, the Constitutional Court sentenced a Former President to prison, but it was not the first time that the Court held Jacob Zuma to account.   Mark Oppenheimer interviews Gilbert Marcus and Wim Trengrove about their roles in the Nkandla case.
