Today, we are turning our discussion to our education system as school is resuming next week in our city. We want to encourage dialogue on what are the expectations for our children during their educational journey and how it translates to them becoming a part of society. What role is expected of them that is reflecting in the education they receive? Is it inclusive of the children's culture and societal experiences or is it a mirage of the life they have no hope of achieving? It's time to have this conversation.

Just over fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we are sharing more on the Power of Love and its creative force. We sometimes think the world is existing separately from what is going on within us. Remember, everything you are experiencing is originating from within the mind and heart of you or someone else. We create from within, and we create powerfully through love. Building a loving relationship with yourself restores your trust and faith in knowing that the Power of Love still reigns victorious.

Today, there's a rebirth in Detroit and a time of collaboration to uplift the human race, so we all benefit. Dr. King debuted his speech in this city for a reason, and now it's time for us to reinforce those words with action and establish that voice of power from this city again so that we all experience equality, not from legislation, but from our greater capacity of knowing that the Power of Love still reigns victorious.
We are powerful, and together we rise!
The "I have a dream speech by Martin L.King debuted in Detroit over fifty years ago on June 23, 1963 and changed the course of this nation, and re-imagined what was possible. Born that same year on July 23rd, I recently celebrated my 52nd Birthday, and realize that my life has been engulfed inside the Civil Rights, and parallels closely with the transformation I endured causing me to re-imagine the little black girl born in 1963 also,
Today we are sharing about the healing that must occur between these two cultures that caused such strong divisional lines of hatred, distrust, and pain merely based on skin tone. Although our nation has become much more diverse and Civil Rights are being fought for so many more, we still have a core pain in cities across the nation that still reek with the racial tension of the past.
Today, let's look at racial reconciliation and find ways to re-imagine ourselves, our cities and our nation.
What's possible for us today should we have dialogue about the pain we have both experienced? Our featured guest, poet and author Alicea Davis has a special message for healing our communities and racial reconciliation. Join me as she shares what she has re-imagined for us here in Detroit, and the work she's doing to close the gap in our consciousness so we see ourselves anew - as citizens of the same family. May we all remember our Divine heritage, our spiritual birthrights, and co-creative powers for creating a miraculous world.
Let's re-imagine our self-image, re-create our belief in everyone's worthiness, and choose to live in excellent communities that flourish abundantly with knowledge, intelligence and resources to be self-sustaining.
The "I have a dream speech by Martin L.King debuted in Detroit over fifty years ago on June 23, 1963 and changed the direction of this nation. Born that same year on July 23rd, today I celebrate my 52nd Birthday, and also the two year anniversary of "Conversations that Inspire Action" on Talk About it Tuesday. My how the time flies.
I want to thank all of my listeners who take the time to listen in each week. Wow!! I have experience so much growth through show, and gained national exposure. This program has brought me more speaking engagements, national radio interviews and speaking gigs in other cities across the nation.
I want to celebrate by giving you a gift to remind us all of how important it is to give back. Because what is the meaning of life, if we don't leave a legacy from which others can benefit?
So for the next 52 days, I will be posting an archived show of my broadcast from the past two years to empower and celebrate you for your gift of Being YOU!!
As I stated two years ago when I started this broadcast, I choose to leave a mark of elevating the Black Community by strengthening our self-image, re-creating our belief in our worthiness to live in excellent communities that flourish abundantly with knowledge, intelligence and resources to be self-sustaining.
May we remember our Divine heritage and our spiritual rituals and practices that caused us to interface with the unseen and create the miraculous in the visible as descendants of Kings and Queens.
The "I have a dream speech" by Marling L.King debuted in Detroit over fifty years ago on June 23, 1963 and changed the direction of this nation. I was born that same year a month later on July 23rd, will soon celebrate my 52nd Birthday. I believe my life has been privliged to parallel with this journey of new beginning for the Civil Rights Movement.
After visiting Selma, AL this year, l have focused more on the New Beginnings that became available to Black Americans at that time, and learning more about what has been happening during the journey of my life. I also committed to make the second have of my life's journey a part of what the next 50 years will bring not only to Black Americans as we reveal our greater capacity to love ourselves, but what changes this Re-discovered powerful love force will have on the world.
As we remember our Divine heritage and our spritual rituals and practices that caused us to interface with the unseen and create the miraculous in the visible over these 50 years, we can continue to walk forward powerfully as descendents of Kings and Queens.
Together, we rise
