Former Sportsnet 960 host and longtime fantasy football expert Peter Klein breaks down which dropped players you should be targeting, plus post-waiver steals still available in most leagues. Then it's a full Thursday Night Football preview of Steelers vs Bengals from both NFL and fantasy perspectives, plus a look-ahead at AEW WrestleDream's stacked card. WAIVER WIRE REBOUND Don't let a bad waiver wire run ruin your week! There's always value to be found if you know where to look. The segment breaks into two parts: Most Dropped Players Worth Rebounding: Matthew Stafford faces Jacksonville after a rough Ravens game. Keon Coleman still had 13 targets over his last two games despite the Bills' bye. Michael Carter got 9 carries and 5 targets - feels like an overreaction drop. Mason Taylor had one bad game but is still the Jets' primary tight end. Post-Waiver Steals: Bryce Young (23% owned) gets a favorable Jets matchup. Luther Burden III (14% owned) benefits from Chicago's clicking offense. Tez Johnson (11% owned) has big-play upside. Tyjae Spears (29% owned) should see more work after Tennessee's coaching change. Bam Knight (22% owned) has timeshare value. Cade Otten (26% owned) could thrive in a TB/DET shootout. DUMPSTER DARLINGS The weekly look at big fantasy performances that helped nobody. This week's all-star team: Jacoby Brissett, Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, Bam Knight, Ray Davis, Michael Mayer, Cameron Johnson, Tampa defense, and Jake Moody combined for 135.8 points while being owned in virtually zero leagues. Fantasy football is cruel. THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: STEELERS VS BENGALS From a pure football perspective, this shouldn't be close. The Steelers (15th in EPA/play) are mid-tier but facing one of the league's worst teams. Cincinnati ranks 31st in EPA/play and their defense is 29th in defensive EPA - Aaron Rodgers should feast. However, Joe Flacco's presence helps keep it competitive. Unlike earlier this season, he'll actually get the ball to Cincinnati's playmakers and won't leave the defense on the field for 10-minute three-and-outs. Peter's prediction: Steelers -5.5, but expect the talking heads to overreact on Friday with "The Steelers are back!" narratives. Pump the brakes - they're still a mid team playing a terrible opponent. FANTASY FOOTBALL BREAKDOWN: Pittsburgh has struggled against QBs (7th most points allowed) and TEs (3rd most). Cincinnati is worst in the league against RBs and TEs. Confident starts: Aaron Rodgers, Jaylen Warren, DK Metcalf, Jonnu Smith, Chase Brown, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Noah Fant. Avoid: Joe Flacco and Pittsburgh's secondary receivers with Calvin Austin out. AEW WRESTLEDREAM PREVIEW This card is UNBELIEVABLE from top to bottom. Every match looks like a potential banger. The headliner is a testament to Samoa Joe's drawing power. He was in a secondary role - helping with trios championships, supporting Hangman Page - then ONE MOMENT in a tag match and suddenly he's a believable world championship threat. So few wrestlers can pull that off. Other highlights: Brodido defending tag titles against Okada & Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe rubber match, Darby Allin vs Jon Moxley I Quit Match, Kris Statlander vs Toni Storm, Young Bucks vs Jurassic Express.
