Hey there! It's been a while, and yes, I'm back too. Life has a way of throwing us into a funk, and sometimes it's tough to figure out a way. Trusting in God, hitting that restart button, and just putting one foot in front of the other has been my strategy to navigate through it all. For Council Coverage, we are hitting that reboot button and taking it one day at a time.
On this episode I talk to my friend Chase about his experience in Oregon being an Oregonian and all the things that have been going on in his life and moving to my home state Texas.

If you can't see it, why believe it right like? If you can't see yourself being a doctor because you don't see anyone that looks like you as a  doctor, then why believe it, right? Or if you can't see anybody in politics that looks Asian, black, Latina, or anything other than " white," then why believe that you can do it. I'm trying to make the point of  REPRESENTATION  matters; it matters not only in the classroom with teachers but also in the Board Room, meeting room, or on the field or the court. The representation of different races, cultures, sizes, and thoughts matters everywhere, and it's in those small spaces where you think people of minorities aren't there, are there and they will be there, and they will stay there because they may not be seen by many, but they're still seen. Today we're talking to Daniel Sanchez about representation in soccer and in Nascar.
Navigating adulthood is challenging, but embracing your unique path is essential. It's your journey filled with its bumps and bruises, but ultimately rewarding. Understanding your current position and aligning your actions accordingly is empowering. Inviting God into this process enhances the experience, providing guidance and strength. Here's a glimpse into the perspective of a 25-year-old navigating this journey.
