Covenant Church Douglas

Thank you for tuning into our latest Sunday Morning Message with Pastors Jackie Pope & Allison Bramlett. For our Mother's Day service, they share a powerful message on rising up as women and men of God and setting a standard for the next generation.

In this midweek message, Pastor Gregory Pope teaches from Psalm 92 that it is good to give thanks to the Lord in the morning and declare His faithfulness every night. Church is where you plug into who God has made you. The righteous flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar when they are planted in the house of the Lord and anointed with fresh oil. Whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord, not for people, and serve with joy.

In this Sunday message, Pastors Gregory and Jackie Pope teach from the four friends who tore the roof off to get their friend to Jesus. Faith is an action word. He saw their faith. You cannot turn the world upside down until you get right side up. Become a witness, delight in the Word, and stay planted by the rivers of living water.

In this midweek message, Pastor Gregory Pope shows that the moment you know who you are in Christ, the enemy comes to accuse and distract. Jesus answered every attack in the wilderness with the Word of God. The sword of the Spirit is our only offensive weapon. Stop talking about the mountain and speak the Word to it. Do not follow the crowd. Get intense about God, put away old habits, and live as He is in this world.

In this Sunday message, Pastor Gregory Pope teaches that believers are an occupying force in the earth. Jesus has already triumphed, and we are called to steward the position He has given us. Drawing from 1 John 4:17, he shows that as Jesus is, so are we in this world. Who you walk with shapes your attitude, your focus, and your future. Put away childish things, find your identity in the Book, and walk with God first.
