She started her cricuting journey in 2015 with older-style cutting machines. Shortly after, she became an administrator of Australia’s largest Cricut fan group on Facebook, Cricut for Australians, which now boasts over 100K members. In 2018 she had the opportunity to visit Cricut's global head office in Utah. Not only was this her first time leaving the country, but she got to meet many of her favourite crafty idols and mentors, including Melody Lane, Lia Griffith and Kim from Sweet Red Poppy. She went on to start a successful Cricut business but eventually realised her passion was in teaching. In 2019, she became a Cricut Community Leader (previously known as Cricut Product Expert) representative of what they do in co-creating the Cricut family down under and an acknowledgement of the value she brings to the Cricut brand. Her work has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine four times, and she has organised Craftathons and Crafty Bootcamps, in addition to being flown around Australia to attend events, demonstrating the Cricut spirit. Overall, her journey has been sparked by the creation of "things", which fuelled the opportunities that subsequently came their way and will continue to in the future. She credits her success to luck and all the supportive and amazing people around her.
