In the journey of marriage, it's easy to fall into the trap of feeling like you're constantly falling short, like 'nothing I do is good enough' for your spouse. This toxic mindset can breed discontent and resentment. Which, of course, erodes the foundation of love and support that marriage is built upon. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  The cycle of perfectionism can be particularly devastating when one partner feels the weight of unrealistic expectations, leading to a disconnect that can tear apart even the strongest bonds. Recognizing and addressing destructive patterns such as this is crucial in your marriage. "When you constantly feel like nothing you do is good enough for your partner, it's time to take a step back and reassess your priorities. You are worthy of love and acceptance just as you are, flaws and all." ~ Kristianne Wargo REFLECTION: Where are you when it comes to feeling like nothing you do is good enough? And be honest with yourself. Maybe you are struggling personally or as a couple. Maybe it applies to you only in certain situations. Regardless, if you want a change, you have to know what needs to change. You've got to acknowledge the hidden secrets. The K.I.S.S. ~ Acknowledge the hidden secrets! And it's not the hidden secrets that you might be thinking of (i.e., affairs, gambling, drinking, drugs, etc.). But you have to be willing to bring out what's hiding in the dark into the light. Then, you can make changes accordingly. The first step in breaking free from the mindset that nothing you do is good enough is to CHALLENGE THE BELIEF. Your worth is not defined by your ability to meet unrealistic standards or assumptions; rather, it lies in your inherent value as a person. Instead of seeking validation from external sources, focus on cultivating self-compassion and self-acceptance. "You have to love yourself first before someone can love you." ~ Kristianne Wargo COMMUNICATION is key in any relationship, and addressing these feelings of inadequacy with your spouse is crucial. Express your concerns openly and honestly, allowing room for vulnerability and understanding. Remember, your partner is your ally, not your adversary. Together, you can work towards a healthier, more balanced dynamic based on mutual respect and support. In overcoming the cycle of perfectionism, you need to consider the importance of SELF-REFLECTION AND PERSONAL GROWTH. "Take the time to reconnect with yourself and rediscover your passions and strengths. Embrace the journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, and watch as your relationships transform." ~ Kristianne Wargo By prioritizing your own well-being and self-worth, you can break free from the suffocating grip of perfectionism and rediscover the joy and authenticity in your marriage. Remember, you are enough, just as you are. "The love that binds comes from two hearts; one you know and the other you connect with." ~ Kristianne Wargo "True love begins with loving your reflection. Embrace your imperfections and let your light shine bright in the darkness of doubt." ~ Kristianne Wargo Overcoming the belief that nothing you do is good enough requires a shift in your mindset and a commitment to saying, "I need to do what I can control first and then reach beyond my own reflection." "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? As a parent, all you want is for your child to be the best and for them to succeed. But what happens when your child disappoints you? As parents, we invest our hearts and souls into raising children. We dream big dreams for them and hope for nothing but the best. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Yet, sometimes our children fall short of our expectations, leaving us feeling disappointed and unsure of how to navigate through this challenging situation. But are you defined by your child's actions? What do you think? If you want to rise above the disappointments of your children, you gotta live life with your flare. The K.I.S.S. ~ Live life with YOUR flare! Here are three things parents can do to rise above the disappointments of their children: 1. Self-Reflection and Self-Care: Take time for self-reflection to process your emotions and thoughts about the situation. Engage in activities that bring you peace and joy, whether it's meditation, exercise, or hobbies. Remember, you can only support your child effectively when you take care of yourself first. 2. Seek Support from Other Parents or a Therapist: It can be beneficial to seek support from fellow parents who may have experienced similar situations. Sharing your feelings and seeking advice from a trusted community can provide you with valuable insights and perspectives. Consider consulting a therapist or counselor to navigate through your emotions in a safe and confidential environment. 3. Set Boundaries and Practice Patience: Establish clear boundaries to protect your emotional well-being and maintain a healthy relationship with your child. Communicate your expectations calmly and assertively, and practice patience as you work through the challenges. Remember that it's okay to prioritize your mental health and set limits to ensure a harmonious environment for yourself and your family. Your child's disappointments have nothing to do with you!  They have to own their actions. Now, I will say that you do have an extreme influence on your children. So, depending on the age, it is important to look at how you can be a better parent.  However, if the kiddo is of age, they bear the responsibilities. You don't have to like what they did, but you can still love your child. "Be present. Be incredible. 3560 Lead with Focus

3560 Lead with Focus

2024-10-2408:45

When overwhelm weakens your day because you're trying to be and do everything for everyone; if you want to turn around the day and inspire yourself, you must lead with focus. In a world where multitasking is praised and busyness is glorified, it's easy to fall into the trap of trying to be everything for everyone. The result? Overwhelm, stress, and a sense of constantly chasing your tail. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  But what if there was a different way to approach your day, a way that not only eliminates overwhelm but also inspires and motivates you to pursue what truly matters? This is where leading with focus comes in. Leading with focus is about honing in on what truly matters to you, focusing your energy and attention on those things, and letting go of the rest. It's about prioritizing your tasks, setting clear goals, and taking intentional action toward achieving them. It's about turning overwhelm into opportunity and using it as a catalyst for growth and success. The K.I.S.S. ~ Lead with focus! When you lead with focus, you create space for clarity and purpose in your life. You start each day with intention, knowing exactly what you want to achieve and how you're going to get there. You no longer waste time on tasks that don't align with your goals or values; instead, you channel your energy into activities that move you closer to your dreams. Leading with focus also allows you to overcome setbacks and challenges with resilience and determination. Instead of letting failures and shortcomings derail you, you see them as learning opportunities and stepping stones to success. You dust yourself off, learn from your mistakes, and keep moving forward with unwavering confidence. So, if overwhelm is weakening your day and holding you back from reaching your greatness and feeling alive, it's time to shift your mindset and lead with focus. There's no time like the present to take control of your life, prioritize what's important to you, and pursue it with passion and purpose. Start today, and watch as you transform overwhelm into opportunity, one focused step at a time. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. In pursuing a healthier lifestyle, the cycle of starting over can be discouraging. With busyness leading your day, are you tired of starting over? Don't let failure be associated with your healthy living anymore. Whether it's committing to a new workout routine, attempting a fad diet, or vowing to prioritize self-care, setbacks are all too common on the road to wellness. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  But fear not, for there are ways to break this cycle and persist in reaching your goals. The K.I.S.S. ~ Do what works now! Here are three strategies to keep moving forward and avoid the trap of constantly beginning again: 1. Celebrate Small Wins: Instead of focusing solely on the end goal, acknowledge and celebrate the small victories along the way. As I often say, "Progress, no matter how small, is still progress." Whether it's choosing a salad over fast food or squeezing in a quick workout, every positive choice counts. By recognizing and appreciating these incremental achievements, you can stay motivated and continue making strides toward your ultimate objective. 2. Embrace Consistency Over Perfection: It's essential to prioritize consistency in your efforts rather than striving for perfection. I believe that "Consistency beats perfection every time." Establishing sustainable habits, even if they're not flawless, is key to long-term success. Remember, it's better to consistently eat well and exercise moderately than to sporadically dive into extreme routines that are unsustainable. By consistently making healthier choices, you'll build momentum and avoid the cycle of constantly starting over. 3. Reflect and Adjust: Regularly assess your progress and adjust your approach as needed. Reflecting on what's working and what's not can help you course-correct and stay on track. My motto is, "Reflection is the compass that points you in the right direction." If certain strategies haven't yielded the desired results, don't be afraid to pivot and try new tactics. Learning from setbacks and adapting your plan accordingly is a powerful way to break the cycle of starting over and achieving lasting lifestyle changes. It's understandable to feel worn out by the prospect of repeatedly beginning anew on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. However, by celebrating small wins, prioritizing consistency over perfection, and being willing to reflect and adjust, you can escape the cycle of starting over and move closer to your wellness goals one step at a time. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, it's not about perfection; it's about progress. So, are you ready to break free from the endless loop of starting over and commit to sustained growth and improvement? The power to change lies within you. "Be present. Be incredible. 3558 Walk, Don't Run!

2024-10-2209:39

Just because you know where you're headed doesn't mean you go that way. Walk, don't run! Maybe then you'll see what matters, synchronize your rhythms, and stabilize your approach for such a time as this.  Walk, don't run! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Imagine if you saw every detail on your way to work or the grocery store. Every car that drove by. Every building you passed. Every tree in bloom. Every stranger walking on the sidewalk. Every yellow light you rushed through. Every leaf that blew. Walk, don't run! In a world that glorifies hustle culture and constant motion, the art of slowing down can often feel like a revolutionary act. "Walk Don't Run" challenges the notion that speed equals success and invites us to reconsider our approach to life's journey. Picture this: you have a clear destination in mind, a goal you're determined to reach. It's tempting to sprint towards it, fueled by adrenaline and the promise of accomplishment. But what if, instead of racing ahead, you choose to walk with purpose and intention? The K.I.S.S. ~ Walk, don't run! Walking allows us to savor the journey, to notice the subtle beauty that unfolds with each step. It gives us the space to pause, to reflect, to truly connect with our surroundings and ourselves. In a world that moves at breakneck speed, walking offers a respite, a chance to recalibrate and realign our priorities. You can't rush greatness. True excellence requires patience, dedication, and a willingness to embrace the process. Slow down and walk with mindfulness. Give yourself the gift of presence, allowing you to fully engage with the world around you. So next time you feel the urge to sprint towards your goals, remember the power of walking. Take a moment to pause, to breathe, to appreciate the journey for what it is. In a world obsessed with speed, walking reminds us to move at our own pace, to honor the rhythm of life, and to embrace each step with intention. Walk, Don't Run! In the dance of life, where the heart and head align, One step at a time, a journey divine. Let the whispers of passion guide your way, Fueling the fire that lights your day.   Connect the beats of your heart with thoughts so clear, For in harmony lies the path to steer. Each step you take, a stride towards fate, One foot in front, no need to hesitate.   Merge the wisdom of mind with the warmth of soul, A symphony of purpose, a harmonious goal. Embrace the journey, embrace the climb, For one step at a time leads to greatness in time.   Listen to your heart, let it lead the way, While the mind keeps focus, day by day. In this fusion of love and logic so prime, Miles of greatness awaits, one step at a time. "Be present. Be incredible. You have finally reached your goal. But what happens next? After getting to the destination, there are no plans for the next steps. At some point, you have to be willing to go back to the drawing board. Who would have thought? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Dreams are not meant to have to go back to the beginning. But at every finish line, there is a starting point. Unfortunately, many people get stuck in reaching their dreams, because they are caught in what happens next.  🌟Congratulations, you've reached your goal! 🌟 The sense of accomplishment washes over you, but then a wave of uncertainty hits - what happens next? While achieving your dreams is a major milestone, it's crucial to have a plan for the next steps. It's not unusual for many individuals to find themselves stuck at this juncture, unsure of how to move forward. So, what happens next? The K.I.S.S. ~ Navigate the next steps! Here are three key strategies to help you navigate the post-success phase and chart a course for further growth: 1. Reflect and Reassess After reaching a goal, take some time to reflect on your journey. Consider what went well, what challenges you faced, and what you learned along the way. This introspection can provide valuable insights and pave the way for setting new objectives. "Self-reflection is the compass that guides us towards our next destination." ~ Kristianne Wargo Example: You've successfully completed a marathon. Take a moment to analyze your training routine, nutrition plan, and mental strategies. Identify areas for improvement and set new fitness targets to continue pushing your boundaries. 2. Set New Goals Rather than getting complacent after achieving one milestone, use it as a springboard to set new, captivating goals. Having a clear vision of what you want to accomplish next can reignite your passion and drive. "Goals are not just a destination but a journey towards continuous growth. By setting your goals, you are setting your rhythm." ~ Kristianne Wargo Example: You've published your first book. Now, aim to write a series or explore a different genre. Setting specific objectives, like completing a certain number of chapters per month, can keep you focused and motivated. 3. Seek Guidance and Support Don't be afraid to reach out for help when navigating uncharted territories. Surround yourself with mentors, peers, or coaches who can provide valuable advice and support. Collaboration and feedback from others can offer fresh perspectives and propel you towards new opportunities. "In seeking guidance, you show strength, not weakness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Example: You've expanded your small business successfully. Connect with industry experts or join networking events to gather insights on scaling up operations. Learning from experienced entrepreneurs can help you avoid pitfalls and accelerate your business growth. Think "Shark Tank." Reaching a goal is just the beginning of a new chapter in your journey. By reflecting on your achievements, setting ambitious goals, and seeking support, you can gracefully transition to the next phase of success.  "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. In the busyness of our daily lives, it's easy to forget the fundamental truth within the scriptures. John 13:34 says, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." But what does it really mean to embody this divine love in our relationships with others? How can we love one another authentically and wholeheartedly, mirroring the boundless love that God has bestowed upon us? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  At the heart of this commandment lies the cornerstone of compassion, empathy, and kindness. To love one another as God loves us means to embrace one another's flaws and imperfections with grace and understanding, just as the Lord extends His mercy to each and every one of us. In 1 John 4:7-8, we are reminded that "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." This profound truth underscores the interconnectedness between our capacity to love one another and our spiritual relationship with God. The K.I.S.S. ~ As I have loved you! Yet, amidst our efforts to extend love outwardly to others, we often neglect an essential aspect of this commandment: the importance of self-love. In Mark 12:31, Jesus instructs us to "Love your neighbor as yourself." This suggests that loving others is intricately linked to loving ourselves, recognizing our inherent worthiness, and embracing our own humanity with compassion. It is crucial to remember that self-love is not synonymous with selfishness or narcissism but rather a profound acceptance of ourselves as beloved children of God. In Psalm 139:14, we are reminded, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Embracing this divine truth enables us to love others from a place of wholeness and authenticity, nurturing relationships rooted in mutual respect and understanding. As we navigate the complexities of human relationships, let us heed the words of Romans 12:10: "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." By cultivating a spirit of love and humility in our interactions with others, we bear witness to the transformative power of God's love working through us. May we seek to embody the essence of God's love in our daily lives, extending grace, forgiveness, and compassion to all those we encounter. Let us embrace the profound truth that loving one another as God loves us begins with a deep and abiding love for ourselves, fostering a ripple effect of kindness and unity in our communities. Embrace God's love within your heart, and let it illuminate the world around you with its radiant beauty. You are worthy. You are loved. And in the words of 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." May you walk in the light of God's love, sharing its boundless grace with all whom you meet. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3555 Cut to the Chase

3555 Cut to the Chase

2024-10-1919:54

How many times have you held your tongue, only to regret that what should have been said could have been said when it mattered? In marriage, there are times when you need to cut to the chase and say it like it is. In the world of marriage, communication is key. Knowing when to speak up and when to hold back can make a world of difference in a successful relationship. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  With divorce rates showing that around 40-50% of marriages end in divorce, mastering the art of communication is more important than ever. REFLECTION: How do you communicate with your spouse when arguments are on the horizon? If you want to have an incredible marriage, you must have strong communication skills. The K.I.S.S. ~ Enhance your communication skills! Here are three tips for spouses to navigate communication effectively: 1. Timing is Everything: Knowing when to share your thoughts and feelings is crucial. If a hot topic arises and emotions are running high, it might be better to wait until both parties have cooled down before discussing it further. This allows for a more productive and constructive conversation rather than a heated argument. "Timing is everything in communication. It's important to choose the right moment to address important issues to ensure they are received well." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Choose Your Battles Wisely: Not every disagreement needs to turn into a full-blown argument. Sometimes it's better to let minor issues go in order to maintain peace in the relationship. Save your energy for the things that truly matter and can impact the health of your marriage in the long run. "Pick your battles wisely. Not every disagreement needs to be turned into a fight. Focus on what truly matters to you both." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. Practice Active Listening: You cannot communicate or say you are communicating if you do not listen! Communication is a two-way street. It's important not only to express your own thoughts and feelings but also to listen actively to your partner. Show empathy, ask questions, and truly try to understand where they're coming from. This can help prevent misunderstandings and show that you value their perspective in the relationship. "Active listening is key in every conversation. Make sure to give your partner the space to express themselves fully and listen with an open mind." ~ Kristianne Wargo Research shows that couples who communicate effectively are more likely to have successful and long-lasting relationships. By implementing these strategies, you can navigate disagreements and strengthen their bond through open and honest communication. Remember, in the journey of marriage, cutting to the chase with kindness and respect can lead to deeper understanding and connection between partners. So, don't hold back - speak your truth, but do it with love. "Communication is not just about talking; it's about understanding and being understood in the most authentic way possible. Communicating is holding the heart while listening to their words." ~ Kristianne Wargo So what do you think? Time to cut to the chase? "Be present. Be incredible. As a parent, it is natural to want to shield your little ones from the harsh realities of life. However, it is crucial to remember that instilling a sense of security during difficult times can help children develop resilience. It can also help them develop coping mechanisms to face adversity in the future. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Life is not ever going to be easy. You might be able to find times of simplicity, but that doesn't make it easy. Hard decisions will be made. No will be said. Yes will be wished. And then there are the tears. Don't you just want to be a parent? It is the best thing in the world, but oh so challenging. The K.I.S.S. ~ Set the foundation with love! Early Childhood (Ages 0-5) 1. Create a Safe Haven: For young children, feeling safe and secure is paramount. Establishing routines, such as consistent bedtime rituals and mealtime schedules, can provide a sense of predictability and stability. Additionally, offering physical affection and validation of emotions can reassure children that they are loved and supported. - Kristianne Wargo: "In the chaos of life, consistency is key. Children thrive when they know what to expect and can rely on your unwavering love." 2. Encourage Emotional Expression: Young children may not have the vocabulary to articulate their feelings verbally. Encourage the use of art, play, or storytelling as tools for self-expression. Creating a safe space for them to share their emotions without judgment fosters trust and emotional resilience. 3. Model Resilience: Children learn by example, and witnessing how parents navigate challenges can shape their own resilience. Demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and positive coping strategies when facing difficulties. Showcasing a growth mindset can empower children to view setbacks as opportunities for growth. - Kristianne Wargo: "Life is full of ups and downs. It's not about avoiding challenges but about how you bounce back from them that matters." Childhood (Ages 6-12) 1. Open Communication: Encourage open discussions with your child about their fears, concerns, and challenges. Actively listen to their perspective and validate their feelings. By fostering a safe environment for dialogue, you help build trust and strengthen your bond. 2. Empower Problem-Solving Skills: Teach your child problem-solving techniques and encourage autonomy in decision-making. By empowering them to tackle challenges independently, you boost their confidence and resilience. Celebrate their successes and provide guidance if they face setbacks. - Kristianne Wargo: "Empower your child to believe in their ability to overcome obstacles. Building problem-solving skills early on prepares them for life's complexities." 3. Establish Support Networks: Nurture relationships with teachers, mentors, and peers to create a supportive community for your child. Encourage participation in extracurricular activities that foster social connections and a sense of belonging. Knowing they have a network of caring individuals reinforces their sense of security. Adolescence (Ages 13-18) 1. Encourage Independence: Adolescents crave independence and autonomy. Allow them to make decisions and take on responsibilities gradually. By respecting their growing autonomy, you show trust in their judgment and capabilities, enhancing their self-esteem. - Kristianne Wargo: "Empower your teenager with choices that respect their maturity level. Guiding them while granting independence fosters a sense of security and self-assurance." 2. Promote Self-Care: Adolescence is a period of significant personal growth and potential stress. Encourage healthy habits such as regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, and sufficient sleep. Teach them coping mechanisms like mindfulness and relaxation techniques to manage stress effectively. 3. Discuss Future Plans: Engage in conversations about their future aspirations and offer guidance in setting realistic goals. Support their academic pursuits and career interests while acknowledging their individual passions. By aligning their future plans with their values, you help them feel grounded and secure in their journey. - Kristianne Wargo: "Navigating adolescence can be overwhelming for teens. By discussing their future plans and aspirations, you provide them with a roadmap that instills confidence and security." Supporting Adult Children (Ages 18+) 1. Respect Their Autonomy: Acknowledge and respect your adult child's independence and decision-making abilities. Avoid imposing your opinions or hovering over their choices. Trust that they have the skills and judgment to navigate their own paths, while offering guidance when requested. - Kristianne Wargo: "Empower your adult child by respecting their independence and autonomy. Letting go doesn't mean disconnecting; it means trusting their capabilities and choices." 2. Encourage Open Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with your adult child, fostering a relationship built on mutual respect and understanding. Create a safe space for them to share their experiences, challenges, and achievements without fear of judgment. Listen actively and offer support where needed. - Kristianne Wargo: "Communication remains vital, even as children become adults. Encourage open dialogue to strengthen your bond and provide a sense of security." 3. Offer Emotional Support: Adult children may face various life transitions, such as career changes, relationships, or parenthood. Be a supportive presence during their triumphs and setbacks, offering encouragement, empathy, and practical guidance. Let them know you are there as a source of unwavering love and support. - Kristianne Wargo: "Providing emotional support to adult children reassures them of your continued presence and care, bolstering their confidence and sense of security." 4. Respect Their Boundaries: Recognize and respect your adult child's boundaries and personal space. Avoid crossing emotional or physical boundaries without their consent, and be mindful of their need for independence. Demonstrating respect for their autonomy reinforces their sense of security in the relationship. - Kristianne Wargo: "Respecting boundaries shows your adult child that you value their autonomy and trust them to navigate their lives, fostering a sense of security and mutual respect." Tailoring your approach to the specific needs and developmental stages of your child ensures that they feel secure, supported, and empowered to navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence. Remember, your unwavering love and guidance are the pillars of strength that create a foundation of security for your child at every age. "Be present. Be incredible. 3553 Say Yes!

3553 Say Yes!

2024-10-1711:24

There is no way to keep up with everything in life and think that you can when all that does happen is the unexpected. Imagine how it would feel to go beyond what you can see. Say 'Yes', and see what happens. You don't have to know everything, but you do have to be willing to take a chance when the opportunity arises. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  In a world that moves at lightning speed, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the constant barrage of choices and challenges. By embracing the unexpected and being open to new possibilities, we can unlock doors we never knew existed. Every day presents us with opportunities - some big, some small - and it's up to us to seize them. Saying "Yes" is not just about blindly accepting everything that comes our way; it's about having the courage to step outside our comfort zone and explore uncharted territories. Saying "Yes" is saying yes to growth, yes to learning, and yes to a life filled with endless possibilities. The K.I.S.S. ~ Say Yes! But what about those moments when fear and doubt start to cloud our judgment? It's normal to feel hesitant when faced with uncertainty, but it's how we choose to respond that truly matters. By managing your thoughts and redirecting your focus, you can push past your insecurities and take bold steps toward your dreams. Here's the thing...we are so used to criticizing our own gifts and talents, it's no wonder that fear and doubt interject themselves into our every day. You gotta be BOLD and get ready to be TOLD--Say YES!! It's time to embrace your own superpower. By cultivating a mindset of positivity and resilience, we can transform challenges into opportunities and setbacks into stepping stones toward success. John Maxwell said, "I am only going to teach what I live." What are you teaching the people in your life, but you're not willing to live by the same rules of life.  Think about it! So, the next time life presents you with a choice, remember the power of "Yes." Embrace the unknown, conquer your fears, and watch as new doors open before you. Say "Yes" to life, and see where the journey takes you. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. In a world driven by constant connectivity, the idea of living your best life behind closed doors might seem counterintuitive. But the reality is that true transformation often happens in the quiet moments. Those quiet moments of self-reflection and personal commitment. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  When it comes to healthy living, finding the balance between public accountability and private dedication is key to long-term success. "Healthy living is not just about what others see, but how you behave when no one is watching." ~ Kristianne Wargo The habits we cultivate in private, away from the eyes of social scrutiny, ultimately shape our overall well-being. Think about what you do in private vs. what you do in public. How are they the same, or maybe how different are they? Are you careful what you eat so people think you are really an active health nut? Or when you close your doors, do you run for the ice cream and potato chips? What does your every day look like now? If you want to live a healthy lifestyle, you get to thrive behind closed doors. The K.I.S.S. ~ Thrive behind closed doors! Here are three essential strategies to thrive behind closed doors and build a strong foundation for a healthier lifestyle: 1. Set Realistic Goals: Establishing clear, achievable goals is crucial when it comes to maintaining healthy habits in private. I can't emphasize enough the importance of setting intentions that resonate with your personal values and motivations. Whether it's committing to regular exercise, mindful eating, or stress management techniques, having specific goals helps to guide your actions when no one else is around to witness them. What goal do you need to set? 2. Create a Supportive Environment: Building a supportive environment within your home and personal space is essential for sustaining healthy habits behind closed doors. Surround yourself with positive influences, such as nutritious foods, fitness equipment, and motivational reminders. "Your environment plays a significant role in shaping your behaviors. Make sure your surroundings encourage and support your wellness journey."~ Kristianne Wargo What do you need to dust off and bring out into the open? 3. Practice Self-Compassion: Above all, practicing self-compassion is key to thriving behind closed doors. I must stress the importance of being kind to yourself, especially during moments of struggle or setbacks. Cultivate a mindset of self-acceptance and forgiveness, giving yourself that grace, realizing that progress is a journey with ups and downs. Remember, healthy living is not about perfection but about consistency and self-care. What kind and compassionate phrase can you repeat to yourself today? Research shows that individuals who prioritize their well-being in private are more likely to experience long-lasting results compared to those solely focused on external validation. According to a study published in the Journal of Behavioral Medicine, self-regulation and intrinsic motivation play vital roles in sustaining healthy behaviors over time. It is important to cultivate a strong inner foundation for healthy living behind closed doors. By setting realistic goals, creating a supportive environment, and practicing self-compassion, you can achieve sustainable wellness outcomes even when no one is watching. Remember, your personal commitment to health is what truly matters, both on display and behind closed doors. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Most of us are willing to try something new and do the impossible so long as it fits within our comfort zone. But what if what you need requires you to be a bear, do it scared? Would you be willing? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  But what if I told you that there's a lesson we can learn from these majestic creatures? What if we could embody the spirit of the bear and face our fears head-on, no matter how daunting the challenge may seem? Life is full of uncertainties and challenges, some of which may leave us feeling overwhelmed and paralyzed with fear. It's easy to stay within our comfort zones, avoiding the unknown and sticking to what feels safe and familiar. But what if the key to unlocking your true potential lies in embracing your fears, just like a bear does when it's confronted with a formidable adversary? The K.I.S.S. ~ Be a bear, do it scared! Being a bear means tapping into your inner reservoir of courage and determination, even when every fiber of your being is screaming at you to run in the opposite direction. It means standing tall in the face of adversity, knowing that you have the strength and resilience to overcome whatever obstacles life throws your way. So, the next time you find yourself hesitating to take that leap of faith, remember the bear. Be bold, be fearless, and most importantly, be willing to do it scared.    Be A Bear, Do It Scared! (by Kristianne Wargo) In the shadows where the brave ones tread, A mighty bear with courage led. Through the forest, through the night, Fearless heart, eyes burning bright.   "Do it scared," the whispers say, Embrace the challenge, come what may. For strength lies deep within your soul, Emboldened by your fears, you'll reach the goal.   Be a bear, stand tall and strong, Facing fears, where you belong. Roar with might, against the tide, Embrace the fear, let your spirit guide.   In the darkness, find your light, Be a bear, fearless in your fight. With trembling hands and beating heart, You'll find the courage to make a start.   So heed the call, do it scared, Embrace your fears, be unimpaired. For in your heart, the bear resides, Courageous spirit, never hides.   Embrace the wild within your core, Be a bear, forever more. Roar with power, face the dare, For in your fear, you'll find you're rare.   Be a bear, do it scared, Embrace the challenge, be prepared. Why do our hearts break more than they celebrate? Why can't You answer my prayer the way I ask? Trusting God is hard sometimes; but it remains the greatest blessing here on earth. Where have you found yourself talking with God? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Begging for what He hasn't given you or thanking Him for what He has given you? Life can leave us perplexed living in a swirling attitude of entitlement that we deserve something different than what we've got. Lord, why don't You answer the way I want? Why don't You hear me the first time? As a mom, I can understand why God doesn't hear us. Because the way we want to be heard is not always what's best. Yet, we wrestle with the idea that His answers are better than ours. How can you trust God when He doesn't answer your prayers the way you want? The K.I.S.S. ~ Trusting God is hard sometimes! In the quiet moments of our lives, when we find ourselves alone with our thoughts, the hope is that we find the guidance, comfort, and understanding that we specifically want. We pray, we plead, we question. Why does it seem like our prayers go unanswered? Why doesn't God respond in the way we hope He would? We believe that we deserve a different path, a better outcome. In the corner of the shower, our tears release the hurt and pain in our hearts out to God, asking for specific answers, yearning for solutions that align with our desires. But what if His silence is a response in itself? Perhaps His plan for us is beyond what our limited vision can comprehend. As a mother, I've come to realize that sometimes not giving my children what they want is the perfect act of love. I see the bigger picture, the long-term implications, the greater good. Could this be the same for our Heavenly Father? Could His seeming silence be a way of gently guiding you toward a path that leads to your ultimate fulfillment and purpose? Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths." This verse serves as a reminder that our own comprehension is limited, but God's wisdom knows no bounds. By surrendering ourselves to His will, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities that we could never have imagined. Trusting God is a journey, not a destination. It requires faith, patience, and a willingness to let go of our preconceived notions of what is best for us. It's called surrender! And that surrender involves a deep-seated belief that God's plan for you is far greater than anything you could dream of. So, in those moments of doubt and confusion, remember to listen, to discern, and to trust that God has your best interests at heart. Don't lose what God has put right in front of you! Stay entangled in His will and leave yours at the door. Find the heavenly comfort right here and right now in the knowledge that even when trusting God is hard, it is ultimately the greatest blessing you'll ever receive here on earth. "Be present. Oftentimes, we live our lives from assumptions. But when assumptions lead the heart, that's one of the first breaks that occurs. If you want your marriage to last, how much do you really love your spouse? And does your spouse know it? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Remember, assumptions can wreck your heart, destroying precious moments and memories leaving only a pile of dust. No marriage should suffer with dust bunnies, unless it's the ones you swept under the bed. Marriage takes work, and more work than one thinks. Life is too precious, and so is your marriage. So it's about time you really love your spouse the way they deserve. The K.I.S.S. ~ Love the way your spouse deserves! 1. SHARE more than you TATTLE Communication is the bedrock of any healthy relationship. Take the time to express your feelings and thoughts to your spouse, ensuring that they know how much you value and care for them. "Being open about your feelings and thoughts allows your spouse to truly understand the depth of your love." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. SHOW more than you ASK It's easy to take our spouses for granted in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Make a conscious effort to show appreciation for even the smallest gestures. A simple 'thank you' or a surprise gesture can go a long way in making your spouse feel loved and valued. "Appreciation is the language of love that your spouse needs to hear daily." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. SPEND more than you SAVE In today's fast-paced world, quality time with our loved ones is often overlooked. Set aside dedicated time each day to connect with your spouse, whether it's sharing a meal, going for a walk, or simply sitting together and talking. Children leave a mark on your heart and a hole in your mind; much love with tough decisions. There is so much to teach in a few years that lasts a lifetime. Your children leave footprints on your heart. It's the indelible marks that shape who we are as parents. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  From the moment they come into our lives, they begin teaching us lessons that we never knew we needed to learn. Like I said, "Children leave a mark on your heart and a hole in your mind." They leave that impression, right, on the heart, but how we come around them and support them requires more brain power than running the International Space Center. However, as we navigate the journey of parenthood, it's essential to strike a balance between being the parent our child needs and loving them right where they're at. This challenge is real. And it's not like we only have to deal with it once in a season, like Hurricane Helene or Milton. As I'm sure you're well aware, kid's hurricanes come daily. But at the same time, your heart screams out to not "punish" or "discipline" them. Yet, what does your child really need? What if you could write your younger child-self a letter, what would tell yourself? Hugs all the time.  Consistency with commitment. Boundaries that are enforced. Less digital and more physical. Your presence is required. So much of our lives are forced into what we should or should not do based on public opinion. What about what is right for your child? What if you led with loving the way your child needs to be loved? The K.I.S.S. ~ Love the way your child needs! And that means you have to know your child and know what is required for their success, not based on how you feel or what others say about how you parent or how you are as a parent. Your kiddos come first! Why would you settle for what doesn't matter? Your children, your family matter. You've got to find that balance between your head and your heart. How can you achieve this delicate equilibrium, since we're going all science today? 1. Embrace Imperfection: Parenting is a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected detours. Instead of striving for unattainable perfection, allow yourself to be imperfect. "No matter what you do, your children leave footprints on your heart." ~ Kristianne Wargo By accepting your flaws and mistakes, you set an invaluable example for your child – one that emphasizes resilience, self-compassion, and the beauty of imperfection. 2. Prioritize Self-Care: In the whirlwind of parenting responsibilities, it's easy to overlook our own needs. Yet, nurturing your mind, body, and spirit is crucial for maintaining a strong and loving connection with your child. "How can you be the parent your child needs without losing your heart in the process?" ~ Kristianne Wargo Whether it's carving out moments of solitude, engaging in activities that bring you joy, or seeking support from loved ones, prioritizing self-care enables you to show up for your child with a full and open heart. Yep--your heart is going to get stepped on. But the indelible mark you leave with them, will be greater than the initial shock. 3. Cultivate Connection Through Communication: Effective communication forms the bedrock of any relationship, including the one between parent and child. Take the time to truly listen to your child's thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment or interruption. "Remember, there is so much to teach in only a few years to last a lifetime." ~ Kristianne Wargo By fostering open and honest communication, you create a safe space where your child feels seen, heard, and valued – strengthening the bond between you and leaving space for those timeless footprints on your heart. Parenthood is a dance between guiding, nurturing, and learning from our children. It's truly about wanting to be the parents our children need while cherishing the love that they so richly deserve. "No matter what you do, your children leave footprints on your heart." ~ Kristianne Wargo Embrace those footprints, cherish the journey, and let unconditional love be the light that leaves an indelible mark on their hearts. Are you giving yourself the space to do what you want to do? What you think about you bring about. So, if your thoughts are juggled, they most likely jeopardize your dreams. This boss doesn't dwell on limitations but focuses on crafting a roadmap to success with unwavering determination. The K.I.S.S. ~ Permission granted! Don't mentally construct barriers by allowing doubts and insecurities to shape your decisions. This is where the inner monologue becomes a battlefield, where every thought can either catapult you forward or hold you back. It's time to free yourself from self-imposed constraints and grant permission to pursue your passions. Remember, every successful journey begins with that first step – the step you authorize yourself to take. How do you do what needs to be done when it comes to healthy living? Sometimes, we think we are doing exactly what we need; however, most of the time, we miss what's hiding in plain sight. We overlook the simplest of actions we can take to change our health for the better. How can that be? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Because we want the easiest way to be healthy; not working out, eating whatever we want when we want, sleeping more than moving, drinking less and less water, etc. But this is where we miss the mark. We miss the whole idea of looking at our lifestyle from a holistic point of view. What we think about we bring about. What we eat we become. What we drink, we hydrate or dilute. How we sleep affects our energy. It's no wonder that we are exhausted when it comes to healthy living because we are doing it all wrong. Following this diet, drinking these drops, taking certain pills, etc. Whatever happened to seeing our body for what it is, a miraculous being that can heal itself (with help of medications at times), but we have to take care of ourselves. We have to do what we know is best and cut out the "ease" of wants and stick to the "needs" of our bodies. The K.I.S.S. ~ Cut out the ease and stick to the needs! 1. EMBRACE MOVEMENT What are you doing to keep your body oiled and recharged? "Movement is life. Our bodies are designed to move, not to sit idly. The joy of moving is that it keeps us alive and vibrant." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. NOURISH MINDFULLY What are you doing to fuel your body with the correct foods for you? "Your body is your temple. What you put in it directly correlates to what you get out of it. Choose foods that nourish your body, mind, and spirit." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. PRIORITIZE REST AND RECOVERY How much rest and recovery do you give your body? "Resting is not a sign of weakness; it's a sign of wisdom. Your body and mind need time to recharge and repair. Make quality sleep a priority." ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, healthy living is not about shortcuts or quick fixes; it's an ongoing journey that requires dedication and conscious effort. By recognizing what's hiding in plain sight and taking simple yet powerful steps, you can truly transform your health and well-being. "Be present. Be incredible. 3543 Wipeout Worry

3543 Wipeout Worry

2024-10-0728:22

Life cannot be enjoyed and experienced if all you think about is what might happen. Can't becomes your first name because there is no other way to see what can happen. You have to plan for what you know won't happen. Wipeout worry! That's not living the way God intended for you to live. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co  No! Life is still not what you expected. But how you choose to respond to life as it comes at you grants you peace, a freedom that gives you permission to smile even in the depths of struggles and troubles. Worry is a formidable foe that robs us of joy, peace, and the ability to fully embrace life's goodness. Living in a constant state of worry is like carrying an unnecessary burden that weighs us down. Living a life consumed by worry can have profound effects on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being, as well as on our relationships and overall quality of life.  1. Mental and Emotional Strain: - Constant rumination: Worrying individuals often find themselves caught in a cycle of overthinking and dwelling on worst-case scenarios, leading to heightened anxiety and stress. - Lack of peace: Worry can create a persistent sense of unease and restlessness, making it difficult to experience moments of tranquility and contentment. - Negative thought patterns: Worry tends to fuel negative thought patterns, fostering a pessimistic outlook on life and undermining one's self-confidence. 2. Physical Symptoms: - Insomnia and fatigue: Excessive worry can disrupt sleep patterns, leading to insomnia and fatigue, which further exacerbate stress levels and impact overall energy levels. - Muscle tension and headaches: Chronic worry can manifest physically through muscle tension, headaches, and other somatic symptoms, as the body responds to prolonged stress. - Digestive issues: The gut-brain connection means that worry can contribute to digestive issues such as stomach pain, diarrhea, or acid reflux, as stress impacts the gastrointestinal system. 3. Impaired Decision-Making: - Analysis paralysis: Worry can paralyze individuals from making decisions, as they become overly focused on potential risks and outcomes, leading to indecision and missed opportunities. - Overly cautious behavior: Worrying individuals may adopt a hyper-vigilant approach in an attempt to mitigate perceived threats, which can result in avoidance behavior and limit personal growth. 4. Strained Relationships: - Lack of presence: When consumed by worry, individuals may struggle to be fully present in their interactions, leading to strained relationships and feelings of disconnect with loved ones. - Need for reassurance: Constant reassurance-seeking behavior can strain relationships, as individuals rely on others to alleviate their worries rather than developing internal coping mechanisms. - Communication challenges: Worry can impact communication patterns, leading to misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and difficulty expressing thoughts and emotions clearly. 5. Social Isolation: - Withdrawal from activities: Worry can lead individuals to withdraw from social gatherings, hobbies, or experiences that might trigger anxiety, resulting in isolation and a sense of disconnection from the world. - Fear of judgment: Worrying individuals may avoid social interactions due to a fear of judgment or criticism, further reinforcing feelings of loneliness and isolation. - Limited growth opportunities: Social isolation resulting from worry can hinder personal growth, as it restricts exposure to new perspectives, experiences, and relationships that facilitate learning and development. Overall, living a life consumed by worry can manifest in various ways, impacting not only our mental and emotional well-being but also our physical health, decision-making abilities, relationships, and social connections. How does worry show up in your life? Recognizing the signs of excessive worry and implementing strategies to address and overcome it is vital in cultivating a life of peace, resilience, and fulfillment. The K.I.S.S. ~ Wipeout worry! 1. TRUST IN GOD'S PLAN Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths." Worry often stems from a lack of trust in God's plan for our lives. By surrendering our fears and anxieties to Him, we can find comfort in knowing that He holds our future in His hands. Trusting in God's wisdom and timing allows us to release the need for control and embrace the peace that comes from knowing that He is in control. Real-Life Example: When faced with uncertainties about the future, instead of allowing worry to consume us, we can choose to trust in God's faithfulness. By seeking His guidance through prayer and meditating on His promises, we can find reassurance that He has a perfect plan for our lives. "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strength." - Corrie ten Boom 2. PRACTICE GRATITUDE 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Gratitude is a powerful antidote to worry, as it shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance of blessings that surround us. By cultivating a heart of thankfulness, we can find joy in the present moment and trust that God will provide for our needs. Real-Life Example: Keeping a gratitude journal and reflecting on the ways God has been faithful in the past can help us maintain a positive perspective, even in the face of challenges. By counting our blessings and acknowledging God's goodness, we can cultivate a spirit of contentment that diminishes worry. "Worry is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained." - Arthur Somers Roche 3. SEEK SUPPORT & COMMUNITY Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 - "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." God designed us for community, knowing that we thrive in fellowship with others who can support and encourage us. When facing worries and struggles, seeking the companionship of fellow believers can provide strength and comfort. Real-Life Example: Engaging in a small group or seeking wise counsel from a mentor can offer perspective and guidance during times of uncertainty. Sharing our burdens with trusted friends who can offer prayer and support can lighten the load of worry and remind us that we are not alone. "Don't let worry rent space in your mind when it was meant to be filled with peace and joy." - Kristianne Wargo Wiping out worry requires a conscious effort to trust in God's plan, practice gratitude, and seek support from a loving community. By anchoring our hearts in faith, cultivating thankfulness, and embracing the strength of unity, we can overcome the grip of worry and step into the abundant life that God has promised us. Life is still not what you expected, but how you choose to respond to life as it comes at you grants you peace, a freedom that gives you permission to smile even in the depths of struggles and troubles. Wipeout worry and embrace the fullness of God's grace and love. "Be present. Be incredible.
