As we go through struggles we can always learn from them. Today I read from "Language of Letting Go" by Melody Beattie and talked about the reading. I also asked some questions to get you thinking about your week.
Family relations are very hard. Today I talked a little about setting boundaries with family members. This cane bring discomfort at first but will ultimately bring peace to you and respectful relationships with family members.

People you encounter add value. Sometimes it is hard to see the value but it is there and you will eventually see it if you keep trying. Do yourself a favor. Accept the value and release the resentments.

You cannot base your actions on feelings if they do not line up with the facts.
I am transitioning to a new job and it is scary. Feelings are not facts and I will overcome.
Instead of reacting to situations choose to respond based on a practicing mindfulness in realising where this reaction is trying to come from. Many times what is going on with you is getting in the way in you are reacting based on your circumstances not responding based on the current situation.
Looking in the local Bad and Busted paper gives me so much gratitude. I am sad for the people still stuck in the bad situation they are in but I do have hope. I want to help others, including the people in these weekly papers. I also go into helping set goals and a quick SMART goal example.
Today on Create your path I talked about starting your day over at any moment and about placing principles before personalities. Through sharing my experience, you can learn how to apply these things to not only your recovery but your life as well.
We have all seen people treated wrong. Time to boldly stand up for those people.
We have all faced storms in different areas of our lives. This morning at use the analogy of an actual physical weather storm as a way to discuss how you can get through your storms.
I don't know where you are in your life for where you want to go but today is the day. Go ahead and make up your mind are going to step out of your comfort zone and make that change.
