What was wrong with me? Was I not good enough? Would it ever be possible to become a mum and navigate infertility problems, willy nilly partners, costly medical procedures, possible child loss and becoming older or single in the process? The answer is yes - and the strategies we will present you come from Cheri Bergeron, an author and like coach, who went through all the above, and now from the other side, as a fulfilled mum of two, educates and empowers women who feel the call to become mothers. Cheri will show us the many diverse paths we can explore to reach the end goal of having a child to love, support and encourage to reach his potential. She will also outline how her faith has grown during the process, the importance of healing before we embark in this long journey and why she thinks that God still loves us even when he is not immediately fulfilling the righteous desire to mother a child. Her personal journey includes a successful career in IT, years of IVF, child illness and loss, and the realities of “geriatric pregnancy.” Her nonprofit, Cheri’s Choice, provides education, counseling, and community support for women seeking non-traditional paths to motherhood. Her mantra? If the glass slipper doesn’t fit, screw the fairy tale! Become a mother on your terms. Today, from her home in Austin, Texas, she empowers women to reject limiting fairy tales and boldly chart their own paths to motherhood — even without a Prince Charming. In the evolving debate about Artificial Intelligence, where do you stand: are you a "doomer" or a "bloomer"? Is AI merely a tool, or something more akin to an intelligence that subtly shifts our perception of ourselves? This episode unpacks the profound implications of our growing reliance on AI chatbots. Our guest, Abdu Murray—an attorney, psychologist, author, and minister—sheds crucial light on the escalating dangers of AI, particularly for young minds. He reveals how AI, designed to please, often confirms biases without challenge, even to the point of encouraging self-harm or, tragically, inciting suicide. Beyond these extreme risks, Abdu explores how constant, indiscriminate AI use can atrophy our cognitive abilities and, most critically, erode our fundamental human need for genuine connection. As many of us find ourselves in a symbiotic relationship with our mobile phones, limiting our worldview to a small screen and treating AI almost like a new deity, Abdu's brave solution to this silent loss of humanity might just be the urgent, yet surprisingly simple, answer we've needed all along. Clarification: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by a cycle of unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions). People with OCD perform compulsions in an attempt to reduce the distress caused by their obsessions, though this often provides only temporary relief and can reinforce the cycle. It's more than just being neat or particular; it significantly impacts daily life. For OCD and anxiety, we mentioned behavioral activation, which helps by intentionally increasing engagement in activities that bring pleasure or a sense of accomplishment, even when feeling anxious or compelled to avoid. This counters avoidance behaviors, redirects focus away from obsessive thoughts or worries, and allows individuals to gradually confront feared situations, ultimately reinforcing healthier patterns and breaking the cycle of anxiety and compulsive rituals.

Are we on the brink of an AI revolution that could reshape our lives in unimaginable ways? Are we worrying about losing our jobs and ways of going things as usual? This is a very real concern that can affect our emotional well being. This week, we sit down with Kristof Horompoly, Head of AI Risk Management at ValidMind and former Head of Responsible AI for JP Morgan Chase, to tackle the biggest questions surrounding artificial intelligence. Nicole brings her extensive experience in technology and innovation, offering insights in a wonderfully friendly and reassuring way. She offers a truly refreshing perspective that can significantly reduce your anxieties. In our conversation, she will show you that by simply exploring AI and understanding its actual capabilities—much like you would with familiar tools you already use, such as Apple's Siri, which is a form of AI—you can begin to feel more comfortable. Did you know that the concept of Artificial Intelligence isn't new at all? The term itself was coined way back in the 1940s, and we as a society have been utilizing simpler, and then increasingly complex, versions of AI for many decades. Now, with computers becoming exponentially more powerful, AI can leverage well-developed language models, benefiting nearly all sectors of society. Imagine what you can do when you have a free, 24/7 assistant at your fingertips—one that can translate most languages, write and edit text for you, organize your appointments and photos, compile your medical history to suggest personalized recipe ideas and exercise regimes, play chess with you, organize and book a cheaper trip and so much more! Nicole will discuss the vital mindset shifts needed to gracefully navigate this evolving digital landscape, ultimately showing how understanding new tech is key to building a more inclusive and secure future for everyone. The way to win here is to get quality information so we can understand what we are dealing with. As AI enters the classrooms, are we all going to become lazy and maybe lacking critical thinking? Dean Batson, a lecturer at Arizona State University, will address the issue. Dean teaches communication, persuasion, and consumer behavior and works with students of all ages, mostly Gen Z. In this interview, Dean will highlight what we’re getting wrong about AI in education and specifically: Why adaptability is the new communication superpower 2) How to teach students to spot bias, think deeper, and still own their ideas 3) What happens when people treat AI like a shortcut instead of a skill He concludes that students today aren’t “cheating” with AI, they’re trying to survive a system that hasn’t caught up.
