I almost cursed a few times listening to The Gift. Ok...so I'm just curious if the whole "newborn baby sleeping in their own room" is something parents in real life do. I am a mother and was too anxious to even CONSIDER that. I wanted to hear every breath, sigh, cry, and hum due to my paranoia of SIDS and the unknown.
The writing is so f**king awful.

I liked backrooms story.
A nice twist in the end, with the protective item. I half expected mc being dragged into the game, either by a girl as last resort or rotenboker out of spite.
I was probably overreacting in my original comment. They could have used it in a critical way. But the topic wasn't broached with care and I don't think it did a misunderstood topic justice. Even then all the comments I got on that comment were just angry that I criticised it's usage at all, because they didn't think it was derogatory at all, despite it's plainly derogatory origins. All in all while most of the shit I got was just plain ableism, I do think my take lacked nuance.
