Weeks later, his skeletal remains were found in a vacant lot less than a mile from where he was last seen. From birth the cards were stacked against Tina but she fought hard to overcome all the hurdles and obstacles that she faced.  But after the loss of her father at just 12-years-old her life started on a downward spiral.  Tina was failed her entire life by the system in Canada and many interventions could've been done to save her. In March 2014, eight-year-old Relisha Rudd vanished without a trace from a homeless shelter in Washington, D.C. She was living with her mother and siblings at the former D.C. General Hospital shelter when she formed a bond with Kahlil Malik Tatum, a janitor at the facility with a criminal past.
