Welcome to Season 5 the break! we have had so many episodes in season 5 and the podcast in general this episode is to celebrate how good the show is doing after first launching 2 years ago! This is the last episode for now of the current series. Series 5 and onwards we have decided that each season will have 100 episodes I know this is a lot per season but it's good to convert a long space of time!
Right on to today's episode! Today I bring back two awesome people Chandler known as the autistic YouTuber & Ethan known as Pooks. Chandler last appearance was last year and Ethan only a few weeks ago. I thought this would be a great collaborative episode. Chandler has Autism and Ethan has Crohn's. Today we talk lots of great topics alongside this, Jobs within Autism and Crohn's, the VR world and the visibility of invisible conditions. We talk about Rec Room too where you can make it your own virtual space. We also talk about how making someone understand what you have and the approach is good. Because we do this to raise awareness and that is awesome!
Great advise from Chandler and Ethan!
"Keep looking forward to the horizon and things will get better!"
Thank you once again Ethan and Chandler and pleasure!
Season 5 will resume as said at the top of the description 100 episodes per season now that's leaves it about 10 more to go! more to come within the podcast though new seasons., not directly numbered but really imaginative work put so stay tuned because exciting things is to come and season 5 will be back in due course, quite likely to be next year due to a lot of new upcoming projects coming up!
see you in the next episode on the podcast!

We talk sensory, what irritates us and why it is hard to ask for help. Alex mentions he went for an interview for a job he did really well apart from he didn't make eye contact even though he didn't get the job he said he was autistic. This wrong, we know the statistics for getting a job when you are autistic this needs to change.

Today's we are back in Northern Ireland for an episode in Belfast. Caitlin has Crohn's disease she talks about her journey from when she was as young as 11 years old. A great episode, we apologise for the lag in connection. Caitlin loves raising awareness. It's a hobby for us. Caitlin says a better undertesting of IBD is needed so can confuse it with IBS. Caitlin was at a festival she went to and she said someone said to her that everyone has Crohn's which is definitely not the case. This is why awareness is important shouldn't be based around appearance. She recently started Humira, all the best Caitlin!
a great episode not to be missed.

I have been given permission to share this episode. I really enjoyed my conversation with Andy it was really good and we covered a lot of important subjects.
In today's episode I am joined with Jennie, who has had Crohn's since 2018 and she had a Stoma the same year but before she was diagnosed. Jennie talks about her journey so far, and how much having a Stoma and Crohn's has boosted her confidence over the years. As most of us know it's a lifelong adjustment and changes us much, it was hard for Jennie to be open about her Crohn's at first and then she discovered it doesn't matter what other's think of you. Advocating for yourself and being open makes your confidence and journey better than it was originally. Pre diagnosis we can all admit we have went online to look and see what IBD and Crohn's disease is, it makes you feel worse why me ? but as me and Jennie say we wouldn't take anything back we have this illnesses because were warriors and can fight it!
