As we continue to process and walk through tough seasons of life it's important that our new emotional normal is built on a firm foundation and with all the substance needed.
Without God, we are isolated, imprisoned and incomplete. Through Jesus, we have new access to God, a new freedom for living and a new purpose for how we spend our time.

We have a tendency to try to make life happen on our terms an in our own strength. Doing so robs us of peace and fills us with stress because it puts the burden of it all squarely on our shoulders. God invites us to live with what John Eldredge calls, “benevolent detachment” which is to consistently “give everything and everyone to God” rather than trying to control and manage it all on our own. When we pause long enough to receive the peace that comes from giving it to Him, we can discern what He wants our next move to be.
As CrossRoads begins our 21 Days of Prayer today, we have the opportunity to multiply the power of our prayers by praying and fasting together. Praying connects us to God. Praying together connects us to each other. Fasting helps us to disconnect from the world so we can discern clearly what God has for us.
As we look at this year's theme of "All Things New," we'll talk through how we got to this theme and what it means moving forward.
We oftentimes talk about and even sing about the greatness of God's love but do we ever stop and think about how far He goes to demonstrate that love to us? More importantly, how should we respond to God's love.
The Christmas story is the timeless story of light coming into darkness. Your story, no matter how dark, is part of that story.
We hear from our ministry partners Tim and Rebecca Pratt of Orphan Relief and Rescue about the work they are doing in West Africa and how we can continue to be a part of that work.
There's a downside to social distancing that can make our relationships even more complicated if we're not intentional about not missing out.
Relationships can become toxic and bitter over time. The best chance for turning them around is to bring honor, trust, and loyalty.
Relationships are often tough even on great days so how do we live in those relationships in a positive and life-giving way?
At some point in our lives, we've all been that "one" God is looking for. Now, whether we find our identity as that one or as one of ninety-nine, we have a responsibility to be on mission with God.
As we look at the parable of the loving father, commonly known as the parable of the prodigal son, we see God's response to the lowest of the low, the self-righteous, and everyone in between.
As we look at the parable of the talents, we look at bot God's response is and what our should be to the gifting we've been given.
It's easy to look at tough seasons of life and think "if I can only get to..." or "if I can just..." But what when that's not the case? What do you do then?
This message will look at this past season of life and where we are heading and offer some specific prayers for each place we find ourselves in.
Amidst the chaos and destruction of Hurricane Laura in and around our area we must find our rest and our strength in God.
There are challenges in life that we'd have to be crazy to take on but there are times where crazy is exactly what it takes.
