Father’s Day Tribute 2024

Today's society tends to make a mockery of the role of fathers, making them look like buffoons as we often see on TV sitcoms. The Bible, however, takes a different view. It instructs fathers in the following way:Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.--Proverbs 22:6Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: And the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; So are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.--Psalm 127:3-5Hearken unto they father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.--Proverbs 23:22The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.--Proverbs 23:24The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.--Proverbs 20:7This broadcast reflected the truth of these verses as listeners shared special words of tribute for their fathers.

COVID shots, Avian Flu shots, and the Lust for Control

Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet is president and CEO of Truth for Health Foundation. Since February 2020, she's been part of the team of frontline physicians treating COVID early at home. With Dr. Peter McCullough, she is a co-author/editor of the Guide to COVID Early Treatment: Options to Stay Out of Hospital and Save Your Life. She is a past director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. The 77th World Health Organization Assembly is over and the pandemic treaty was not passed. Dr. Vliet believes they are distracting people by saying that the treaty ran into problems so it's only on the "back burner" until the next gathering when there's less pressure and less public focus. What they did "under the radar" was to pass International Health Regulatory Agreement amendments from the 2005 agreement. She contends that the amendments that were passed are more draconian than ever. For example, in one of the amendments they now have arrest power for anyone who criticizes the avian flu vaccines. Is avian (bird) flu rampant in animals? Dr. Vliet says it's not because the unreliable PCR test is being used as a diagnostic test when in fact, it's not and never has been. Nonetheless it's being used to claim bird flu in animals which is an excuse to slaughter the food supply and scare people into receiving more experimental shots. In other words, the playbook that was used in 2020 for the COVID pandemic (and disrupt the election) is being used in regard to the avian flu situation. From cancer to court cases, to gain-of-function and more, a lot is covered for you to hear and to share with others, on this edition of Crosstalk.

Islam’s Advance

Just over 14 years ago, Usama Dakdok made his first appearance on Crosstalk. At that time he warned listeners about the goal of Islam and the caliphate whereby the lands and the people would be under the domain of Islam. He warned that this would take place in Europe. The result? In our day we are literally watching the transformation of Great Britain, France, Germany and the European Union.Sadly, it's also taking place here in America, not just on university campuses but in cities across the nation. We can see from their protests that this movement is against not only Jews, but Christians and everything America stands for. Usama Dakdok is founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He's the speaker on the daily radio broadcast, Revealing the Truth About Islam. Usama speaks fluent Arabic and has translated the Quran into English. He is the author of Exposing the Truth about the Qur'an and Exposing the Truth About Jihad and the booklets, The Violent Truth about Islam and The Straight Way to Eternal Life.Beginning with Europe, Jim noted how in Germany's recent election, the Muslim Party received just over 41% of the vote. In fact, things are so bad, writer Robert Spencer noted that Britain, "...is in its last days as a free society and will soon become an Islamic state." To further show the depth of the problem in Europe, Spencer wrote about Lawrence Fox, the English actor turned political activist. Fox communicated that the mayors of London, Birmingham, Leeds, Blackburn, Sheffield, Oxford, Luton, Oldham and Rochdale are all Muslim. All that was achieved by only 4 million Muslims out of 66 million people in England.

Israel Hostages Rescued! Israel Rejoices, the World Mourns

Chris Katulka is the assistant director of North American Ministries at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and host of The Friends of Israel Today radio program. He is a Bible teacher, writer for Israel My Glory magazine and is author of the book, Israel Always. This past Saturday, in broad daylight, Israeli Defense Forces engaged in an amazing rescue operation of 4 Israelis that were taken hostage at the Supernova music festival that took place in Gaza (on the Israeli side) on October 7th. While Israel has been celebrating this effort, there's been widespread condemnation elsewhere because of those who were killed in the process. As an example of the celebratory tone coming from Israel, Jim noted that Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called the rescue, "...one the most heroic and extraordinary operations I've witnessed over the course of 47 years serving in Israel's defense establishment."This broadcast covered a lot of ground surrounding this topic as Jim and Chris discussed President Biden who continues to float a ceasefire deal, are the people who are part of the casualty numbers all innocent Palestinians, Benjamin Netanyahu's upcoming speech before a joint session of Congress, possible banning of Israel from the Olympics and much more.

Globalism: The Great World Consumption

If you've been listening to Crosstalk for some time, you've likely discovered that there's been a significant uptick in the intensity of issues bombarding the world. It's not just a single battle being waged, but an all-out war on numerous fronts. There's the attack on biblical values, the demonizing of Christianity, the escalation of lawlessness, the emerging secular agenda, and the growing control of the populace. Some may see these things as accidental or isolated incidents that aren't connected. However, they all share a common thread. It's the promotion of globalism.Appearing on Crosstalk to discuss this topic, Jim welcomed back Dr. Richard Schmidt. Dr. Schmidt is the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church and founder of Prophecy Focus Ministries. He's the speaker on the weekly TV program, "Prophecy Focus" and the radio broadcast, "Prophecy Unfolding." He spent 32 years in law enforcement including that of acting sheriff of Milwaukee County until his retirement. He's authored several books including: Are You Going to a Better Place?, Daniel's Gap Paul's Mystery, Tribulation to Triumph: The Olivet Discourse, and the newly released, Globalism: The Great World Consumption.Dr. Schmidt began by reminding listeners that 2 Timothy 3:1 tells us that in the last day, perilous times will come. "Last days" is used in different contexts in the Bible. When looking at this from a prophetic standpoint, this deals with the tribulation. However, in 2 Timothy, Paul is referring to horrible, dangerous times that will occur toward the end of the church age which is the age we are currently in.Don't miss this edition of Crosstalk!

Butler County OH Sheriff Issues Warning

There are significant warnings being expressed by some individuals concerning the internal safety and security of the United States. These warnings are coming from the highest levels of government all the way down to the level of our county sheriffs. The importance of this matter cannot be overstated. Jim proved the point as he aired 3 audio clips. The first was from Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson as he questioned Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas concerning what's been taking place at the southern border. The second audio clip featured Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray, who noted how multiple foreign terrorist organizations have called for direct attacks on the U.S. or its assets and the threat from domestic extremist groups. In the third clip, FBI Director Wray discussed the ongoing, multi-pronged threat of China. These audio clips set the stage for comments that came from Butler County, Ohio, Sheriff Richard Jones. At a press conference conducted last week, he shared information obtained while attending the National Sheriffs Association Winter Conference that was held in Washington, D.C., on February 3-6. The sheriffs were briefed at the conference by numerous high level government officials and heard the latest regarding crime and national security, border crime, gangs, drugs, terrorism and violent extremism. You'll want to share this information with others as you'll hear Sheriff Jones discuss the warning as well as the actions he's taking in his county.

Andy Woods Rally - "Signs of the Times"

Dr. Andy Woods is the president of Chafer Theological Seminary and senior pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church. He's contributed to numerous theological journals and Christian books and has spoken on a variety of topics at Christian conferences. He's the author of The Middle East Meltdown, The Falling Away, as well as other books. Dr. Woods spoke at a VCY America spring rally in Southeast Wisconsin in April of this year. Dr. Woods began by describing how Jesus rebuked the religious leaders of his day because they should have been able to recognize who he was based on the signs of the times. In spite of this, they refused to pay attention. They completely failed to recognize the messianic time period they were living in.Dr. Woods reminded listeners that throughout history we see that when God sets something up, there are signs of the times that people are to be aware of and to pay close attention to them. This is especially important in our day because there are more signs pointing to Christ's second coming than his first. In this broadcast, Dr. Woods analyzes numerous signs that point to this return, beginning with the regathering of the Jews to Israel, the nation that's the modern miracle and focal point of biblical prophecy. He also looks at the third Temple, the red heifers, an invasion by Turkey/Russia/Iran and much more.

Homosexuality: What Does the Bible Say?

With each passing year, advocates of the LGBTQ+ agenda are more vocal and more aggressive in advancing their cause while denouncing those who object. As has been his custom, President Biden issued a proclamation on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Pride Month. His proclamation stated, "Advancing equality for the LGBTQI+ community is a top priority."Is this the last word because churches are becoming more accepting, because "drag queens" are allowed to read stories to children, because world governments, or specifically, a U.S. administration, makes it a "top priority"? Instead, what we should be asking is: What does the Bible say?Joining Crosstalk to answer that question was Pastor Rick Rogers of Calvary Baptist Church in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. He's a chaplain for law enforcement, is a former director of the Alpha Women's Center and also previously served on the Board of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin.Pastor Rogers began by noting how God has ordained 3 institutions: The family (Genesis 1), human governments (Genesis 9) and the Church of Jesus Christ. These were ordained for godliness, law and order. This is where Satan has been attacking the hardest. Pastor Rogers noted that if you dismantle those three, you've dismantled the foundation of the calling we have from the Lord. In other words, it's a war against the natural order. What about those who believe this is a genetic issue? If that's the case, how can God condemn it? Pastor Rogers communicated that there are some things in genetics you just can't prove and this is one of them. We see this by the fact that no "gay gene" has been found.

Reaching Children with the Gospel

According to the World Population Review, there are approximately 2 billion children in the world ranging in age from 0-14. That's one-quarter of the world's population. Sadly, children today are in the cross-hairs of efforts like the trans agenda and their admitted grooming and indoctrination. They're also being affected by broadcast and streaming TV, corporate America, social media, the educational system and other efforts. All of these things magnify the need to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Joining Crosstalk to discuss one such effort was Fred Pry, Vice President of Administration for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).After sharing some background on CEF, Fred described how a Supreme Court ruling now allows for CEF Good News Clubs to have equal access/equal treatment and take these clubs into the public schools. The result is that this past school year there have been over 3,000 Good News clubs that have operated with over half a million children involved. This is important because many of these children don't attend church anywhere. Fred discussed the impact of Satan clubs, CEF summer ministry camps/clubs, how the five-day clubs operate, how you can host a five-day club in your garage or backyard, the incredible worldwide emphasis of CEF and much more.

Defending Children from the Trans Agenda

Children today are being bombarded by the trans agenda. Some may use terms such as "indoctrination" or "grooming" to describe it and that's exactly what's taking place as an audio clip played by Jim proves. This grooming/indoctrination is happening in multiple ways and the guest on this broadcast describes these influences. For this subject Crosstalk welcomed Rebecca Terrell. Rebecca is senior editor and regular contributor to the New American. In the current issue of The New American Rebecca is author of the cover story, "Defending Children Against the Trans Agenda."Rebecca believes that our entire culture and nation is at stake. The upcoming generation of children and teens is being brainwashed and it's not only affecting us morally, it's also affecting the U.S. birth rate which has been in steep decline for many years. This brainwashing is happening to young people through school curriculum, media/entertainment, technology, corporate America, bans on conversion therapy and more.Get the latest information on this topic, and hear what listeners had to say, when you review this edition of Crosstalk.

A World in Struggle

We are witnessing a world struggle for domination and control of the population, land, energy and even your health. Right now, the World Health Assembly is meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, to finalize a vote on a pandemic treaty. There's also the struggle among nations as to who will/will not support Israel and the Jewish people. Then there's the current political struggle and the struggle over border control in America. Where is this leading and what might this mean for evangelical Christians? Returning to Crosstalk to answer these questions was Gary Kah. Gary is founder and director of Hope for the World. He's editor of Hope for the World Update, an author and former Europe & Middle East Trade Specialist for the Indiana State Government.Gary began by describing the timeline of the pandemic treaty being discussed by the WHO, a treaty that's been in the making for a few years. It's being backed by the Biden administration. In order to avert any resistance from Congress, they've been referring to this as an accord. That way they can say that the Senate doesn't need to ratify it since it's not really a treaty. If this treaty passes, the WHO would be given incredible power and it could be used to force what Gary described as "draconian measures" on the population of America when the next health crisis takes place. This means Americans could see restrictions in regard to speech, privacy, travel, choice of medical care and informed consent. In other words if passed, the WHO would move from being an advisory body to a global authority as it pertains to public health.

What Meaneth These Stones?

On many occasions, individuals will do something so that they remember a significant life event. The Israelites gathered stones as they crossed the Jordan River. With the stones, they built a monument so that when future generations asked what the stones meant, they would hear of how God led them through and provided for them.We also put up monuments, not to worship, but to remember individuals or events that have impacted our nation in a significant way. Unfortunately, it's these statues and monuments that are under attack. Why is this happening? To address this issue, Crosstalk welcomed Dr. Tim Schmig. Dr. Schmig is executive director of the Michigan Association of Christian Schools, director of Stories in Stone and author of Stories in Stones: Our Heritage of Evidence. So why is there such a concerted effort to remove statues and monuments today? Dr. Schmig believes part of it is because people today are looking back through the lens of their own personal experiences, therefore they view our nation's founders based upon what's known as "presentism." In other words, they weigh the actions and productivity of the founders (and others who've gone on before us) based on what they believe is right today. As he noted, none of us are perfect, including America's founders. The present day protesters that tear down monuments aren't perfect either. So if you look at our nation through the lens of idealism, we'll be weighed in the balances and found wanting. Yet if you look at America's history based upon the times that they lived in, you'll see that those individuals did some amazing things.

Escalating Toward Euthanasia

Brad Mattes is president of Life Issues Institute which was founded in 1991 to serve the educational needs of the pro-life movement. Brad is the host of Life Issues, a daily radio commentary, the weekly Straight Talk on Life Issues and has produced numerous radio specials standing for lifeWhat used to be called euthanasia evolved to become physician assisted suicide, mercy killing, and death with dignity. The newest attempt to soften this killing procedure is use of the phrase, medical aid in dying. This program centered on legislation being drafted for the federal funding of assisted suicide. HR-8137 is legislation to provide exceptions to the restrictions described in the Assisted Suicide Funding Restriction Act of 1997. That legislation was designed to prohibit taxpayer funding for euthanasia, assisted suicide or anything associated with those activities. Now there's an attempt to redefine medical aid in dying to not include assisted suicide, euthanasia or mercy killing. Brad believes this is an attempt to get control of the purse strings of Medicaid and Medicare. Once they have that control, they'll have the federal funding necessary to kill many more people.

A Current Focus on Israel

Dr. Gary Frazier is a respected speaker and writer on the subject of Bible prophecy. He is the founder and president of Discovery Missions. He's the author of numerous books including: Miracle of Israel, It Could Happen Tomorrow, Hell is for Real, Divorcing God: The Two Americas and The Event: The Dream of World Peace Realized. On this broadcast, Gary shares the big picture when it comes to Israel. It's the fact that biblical prophecy will be fulfilled. Gary noted that we forget that such prophecy is fulfilled incrementally over time. So what exactly are we seeing at the present time as it pertains to this "big picture"? It's the idea that a well-funded hatred is showing toward Israel as people chant things like, "From the river to the sea." Interestingly, many of those protesting have no historical frame of reference for such activity.Don't miss this discussion as you'll hear Dr. Frazier comment on points such as: Are we headed toward a Russian led Islamic invasion of Israel? What part will Iran have in this? How critical to this discussion is Isaiah 17:1 that describes the destruction of Damascus? Will every single nation, including the U.S., turn against Israel? What impact should everything that's happening have on us as believers today? These and other questions are answered, and listeners present their views as well, on this edition of Crosstalk.

The Death of Iran’s President

Michael Germi is a former Muslim, born in Iran into a Shia Muslim family. In this setting he learned to practice Islam praying 5 times a day toward Mecca. He fasted during Ramadan. He practiced self-mutilation for the cause of Allah. He migrated to Australia in 2006 and in 2009 found faith in Jesus Christ. He later moved to the U.S. where he now proclaims the Gospel to Islamic nations. He's written several Farsi Christian books and desires to plant churches around the world where Persians are scattered.Michael began with some history of Iran as they moved from conditions under the Shah to rule by the Ayatollah. He describes how he grew up learning the Qur'an and Islam, not by choice, but by force and how he was taught he'd go to Hell if he didn't abide by/practice the Islamic traditions. The focus eventually switches to the helicopter crash that took the life of 63 year old Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other high ranking officials. Raisi was known as the "Butcher of Tehran" and the "Hangman of Tehran", having massacred thousands of Iranians. Funeral services will run over several days. As the broadcast moves along you'll hear Michael as he comments on how this will affect the political situation in Iran due to the fact that Raisi was the potential successor to the current Supreme Leader. He also comments on the reaction of the people to the death of Raisi, whether an Iranian official might have caused the helicopter crash, what we know about the current vice-president, Michael's passion for reaching people in Iran with the Gospel message and much more.

Immigration Crisis Realities

Mark Krikorian is a nationally recognized expert on immigration issues serving as the Executive Director of Center for Immigration Studies. They are an independent, non-partisan research organization examining and critiquing the impact of immigration on the United States. He has testified numerous times before Congress and has published articles in many outlets. The discussion began with a look at the surge of Chinese nationals coming to the U.S. at rates never before seen. In fact, Mark noted that since Biden became president, there have been more than 50,000 Chinese illegal immigrants that have come here, with most of them arriving through San Diego. This is an obvious security issue for us and a great opportunity for the Chinese government to use the flow to include various types of espionage agents. According to Mark, people from about 175 countries are known to be here. In other words, the immigration situation has to be dealt with in dramatic fashion and Senator Marco Rubio makes that clear in an audio clip presented by Jim from Meet the Press. Review this broadcast and you'll also hear the following discussed:Just last week nearly 150 House Democrats opposed legislation that detains and deports illegal immigrants who attack police officers. Are non-citizens illegally registering to vote? How do you round up two million "gottaways"?The latest attempt to pass a border security bill. The connection between U.S. immigration policy and drugs.
