Top of the table baby! What a fantastic achievment for Mathew Nicks and the players. Did what we had to do against North and got out unscathed. Now the real season starts!
I dont know what you were all so worried about! But seriously, one of those games where you take the 4 points and put the review tape in the bin. A great breakout game by Zac Taylor, captain's knock from Dawson, huge last half from Izak and RT stood up when it mattered after giving us a heart attack. Genuinely our best team performance for some years and a statement of intent for our prospects this season. Make no mistake, we are in it up to our eyeballs.

Well, it seemed like we were watching a repeat of the last 8 matches against the Pies. Close, had our chances, ultimately not good enough. A 10 point loss against the best team in the comp at the G sounds like an honourable loss... but in reality it was just the same old story.

Anytime you beat Port it's a good time, and the Crows found a way to win Showdown 57, edge clear on the head to head and consolidate a top 6 ladder position. It wasn't pretty and there are plenty of questions to be answered. Join us as we talk about it all.
