This is the finale of our Serial Killers and Conspiracy Theories crossover: By 2011, the FBI was ready to reexamine the evidence. A theory emerged: What if the Mad Poisoner was actually the Unabomber? Ted Kaczynski had proven he was a revenge-seeking terrorist, and he had connections to Chicago. Perhaps he traded homemade bombs for poisoned pills. Or maybe the deadly concoctions came straight from the Johnson & Johnson facility itself. In the absence of clear answers, only theories remain… and rumors that someone is still out there, replacing Halloween treats with fatal tricks. Learn more about your ad choices. It's JustB

This isn't my first episode of Cults, but the gruesome details of the crimes committed by these animals were so abhorrent 🤮. How are people like these able to go to sleep at night when the mere listening to the narration is nightmare-inducing to me?

I don't want to hear anything by a person who steals the work of others and attempts to pass it off as her own. She still has not apologized.

the name "the great white brotherhood" sounds like someone just ad libbed a name. "Give me an adjective." "Okay, 'Great.'" "A color." "Does 'white' count?" "And finally, a noun." "'Brotherhood'? Is that a noun?" "Okay, the name of your fantasy cult is 'The Great White Brotherhood.' Sounds like a Nazi death cult."

All-round horrible podcast. Poorly researched, with an obnoxious fake-conversational tone, horrible hosts, and way too many ads. Avoid anything from these guys at all costs.
