Online customer evaluation services such as Yelp.com or TripAdvisor.com have become increasing popular with consumers in selecting which restaurant to eat at or hotels and resorts to stay. Positive reviews naturally draw customers in and negative reviews can keep potential new customers away. Now there is a new service called Social Survey that mortgage lenders can use to obtain feedback and published the positive reviews and deal with the issues that resulted in any negative reviews.  Joining me on this podcast is the founder of Social Survey, Scott Harris and the Head of Sales, Craig Pollock.  I also in a long-standing industry veteran, Barry Habib, to share his thoughts about what a product like this can do for a company. I hope you find this topic and product as interesting as I did. With approximately 97% of all loans orginated in the US today involving an agency or government loan program, when will we see a resurgence of non-agency/non-government loan programs?  Today’s guest, Eileen O’Grady, an industry veteran and now has become our official “Capital Markets & Structured Finance Industry news correspondent”, will give us an update about what’s going on with the Capital Markets side of the lending industry.  Eileen will be sharing with our listening audience one of the most exciting developments in the Mortgage Capital Markets and Structured Finance areas since the development of agency mortgage backed securities.  This has been a big “below the radar” development and most have missed it because, as Eileen says, “the industry has been TRIDhypnotized”. On today’s podcast, we will first be given an updated on Non Agency loans and explain why there has been so little activity in Non Agency securities.  And then Eileen is going to talk about a new mortgage security that is playing a major role in the industry. You won’t want to miss this exciting and informative podcast as we listen to thie very important industry update from our “Capital Markets & Structured Finance Industry news correspondent”! Due to technology issues beyond our control, we were unable to play the interview with HOWARD LAX on Monday’s podcast which was on the topic of Marketing Service Agreements (MSA’s).  Now that BlogTalkRadio has been able to fix the issues, we are able to share with you this interview.  Again, my apologies and hope you will find this interview of value.  David Lykken, Host of Lykken On Lending!   It seems that Marketing Service Agreements (MSA’s) have drawn the ire of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), but why?  What has been the evolution of Marketing Service Agreements (MSA’s) and why now have they become so ‘toxic’ to the point that a number of major financial institutions have announced that they are terminating all MSA’s?  Is there any MSA structure that the CFPB would find acceptable?  If so, do the risks involved out weigh the advantages?  ON this podcast we have as our special guest, HOWARD LAX of the Bodman law firm.  Howard will answer these questions and will explain why so many are exciting MSA’s.  Don’t miss this important discussion and interview with HOWARD LAX.
