Something has been found at the bottom of Earth's ocean. An ancient artifact that can only be described as a giant door, inset into the ocean floor.
It became known as the Vault. A gigantic enigma, buried and forgotten...nineteen thousand feet down.
Just the kind of thing that would interest the galaxy's most powerful corporation, Maas-Dorian. To study the artifact, the company built a massive, self-contained, secret laboratory base surrounding it. That base is named Fathom. It's objective: unlock the secrets of the artifact and discover what it holds.
A group of scientists, engineers, and workers led by Dr. Eva Graff and Commander Joe Freeman have been working on that task for almost a year, but with little to show for it. The Vault has yet to give up its secrets, and their employers are beginning to lose patience. Add to that, some on the base say they hear...voices. Inside the signal the Vault is broadcasting. Hundreds of them. Thousands. Whispering and chittering of a desire to be let out...
But none of it holds sway over a corporation interested only in power and profit, even if it knows all too well that some mysteries should remain buried. And that some doors should never be opened...

WOOOOOOOP BLANES BACK!!
can you take any longer with the episode drops ????
OMG.
The protagonist is becoming increasingly annoying in each episode. What's supposed to be a top-notch physicist is portrayed as a weak, whiny character. It's doubtful she would have passed a psych eval, especially in such a powerful company, which must maintain the highest standards for psychological stability. Also, who writes Kernel on multiple languages? What benefit could Python have? Hard cringe.
Great writing, voice acting and all around Amazing audio production
Wow. This show is... intense. Maybe don't listen if you've got a fear of water, yeah? But for the rest of us, this is non-stop action that keeps delivering, with a rich soundscape that will leave you breathless.

I'm looking forward to this. season 1 was superb. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
why present something that's years old? How about Dust come out with something new.
There might be a such thing as too much sound design.
love the story but all these damn alarms and beeps are driving me crazy 🤣 please stop!!!
Loving this story!! So far it has me on the edge of my seat!!
It's disheartening to see so many once-beautiful buildings left in a derelict state in our city. The word "derelict" itself carries a sense of abandonment and neglect, and unfortunately, that's exactly what we witness around us. These structures, once vibrant and full of life, now stand as a grim reminder of our failure to preserve our architectural heritage. https://packagingmart.2fl.co/ One of the main issues is the lack of funding for restoration projects. Many historic buildings have fallen into disrepair due to budget constraints, and it's a shame because these structures hold so much historical and cultural significance. It's crucial for local governments and communities to prioritize the restoration of derelict buildings, not only for their aesthetic value but also for their role in telling the story of our past. https://www.thetradefinder.co.uk/details/packaging-mart/2085307
killing Blaine was stupid. He was the best part of the podcast
Enjoyable, but the sound mixing made it difficult to listen to in parts. dialogue gets drowned out by sound effects and background noise in parts.
(Note that the following review is based upon this reviewer having listened to only the first three episodes of this podcast). Derelict is an exciting sci-fi drama podcast that tops most other offerings within it's genre. Set in a deep sea research station, sited close to an immense and mysterious apparently alien artefact, our main female protagonist's backstory is established rapidly and, vitally, we sympathise with her. The creators set up a sense of peril and mystery early on, using both effective, professional level sound effects and an exciting storyline to create a claustrophobic landscape within which we are quickly drawn. Derelict has similarities with the legendary The Abyss, but with a more malevolent and darker tone. The evil, apparently malfunctioning AI, Mac, reminds us of the iconic 2001 Hal computer. Despite parallels to this vastly overdone element, Derelict's AI construct comes off, and doesn't jar us out of the story too much. The main criticism of this reviewer i
Chef's kiss. one of my favorite sci-fi podcasts every sci-fi lover should try. Here's hoping the new season comes out fast enough
