DING DING

The season Finale! Sorry its taken so long to get here. This week we preview Yarde vs Kovalev and Lomo vs Campbell.  We talk all things AJ and cover the murky fall out of the Dillian Whyte failed blood sample. We shall return in a few weeks with season 2. Lomachenko dismantles Carolla and its both impressive and hard watching. The biggest fight in womens boxing took place at the weekend between Clarissa Shields and Christina Hammer. It might have been the biggest but it certainly wasn't the best. And we preview the Khan/Crawford contest. Luke rejoins the team after a 2 week absence and thank god he does because we have so much to discuss that Jon and I would have gotten dry mouth. We kick of proceeding by reflecting on the career of George Groves after he announced his retirement this week. We discuss The Pacmans victory over Broner, Kieth Thurmans return to the ring after a 2 year injury break and Linares' first round knock out defeat in fight review. Then its onto the previews. One of those being, we feel, a potential fight of the year and possibly even a fight of the decade. No Luke again this week so its just the gruesome twosome of Jon and myself. We preview Degale vs Eubank Jr, Khan vs Crawford and Pacquiao vs Broner all beautifully woven together within the theme of money vs legacy in the sport. This weeks episode is mostly about a small fight that occurred in a country called America between a gypsy king and a wild man. What a dramatic night it turned out to be. As well as reviewing that bout we preview Lomachenkos next contest and Sheffield man Kell Brook vs Michael Zerafa. We have rumours galore...well the three of us speculating about who will fight who next in the heavyweight division. And last but not least we finish as always with Jons fight of the week. There are also some rumours of potential fights to be made and we finish it all off with Jons Fight of the Week. We are neither experts at podcasting nor do we have any experience of boxing other than being huge fans of the sweet science.
