ireally dislike this podcast. Christian thinks he is hilarious. he's the only one
I can't believe that people are giving guff to Jeff Cannata about his opinion! He's Jeff Cannata for goodness sake! Have you not heard a word he's said over the last DECADE!? You have to know he's a great guy by now. Geez.
"planting the red white and blue." good grief.
Did I miss the Sekiro talk?
My favourite gaming podcast with entertaining hosts that feels like just a couple of friends hanging out and talking about games. No pretentious bullshit like Giant Bomb. Plus you can also play a drinking game by taking a sip every time Jeff mentions that he had a child. You'll be drunk in no time.
I am a big fan of 5by5 and generally try out any of the new shows that they put out. There’s a level of quality in hosts and production value that means it’s always worth a shot. I tried out DLC only for this reason, not being sure what the show was really going to be about. An hour and forty minutes is a lot of show for a topic I’m not that invested in. DLC kept me completely engaged for two critical reasons: 1) The hosts are excellent. They know how to separate out the wheat from the chaff and were able to remind me that I am interested in video games and the industry, just not the heavy dose of cruft that typically comes along with the coverage. 2) Effective use of call-in. There are few podcasts that are broadcast live and even fewer with the infrastructure, interest, and listenership to make calls work. Jeff and Christian got great callers, but more importantly, they used calls well. They asked great prompts, kept calls relatively short, and used the listeners to deepen areas
Cannata and Spicer, what else do you need? Also definitely tweet @jeffcannata more questions about what this means for NLB and WC, I have it on good authority he loves it
Just recently started listening to this podcast, as I love to listen to games podcasts. Episode 146 gets very political, very pro-Hillary Clinton. Nobody wants to hear your politcal opinions. I thought this was a games podcast.
