Okay we are back in earnest this week for Episode 155. I'll be honest and say I felt out of my element as I had grown used to being the only host for the last 2.5 years. Keep in mind, our podcast is unscripted and I have zero idea what Donnie is going to say lol. I might appear snarky with him at times but trust me, it's just how he and I jest with one another ALL DAY LONG EVERY DAY! Thank you for joining us! I feel we missed a few points which I'll point out here and hope that you READ these: 1. Jesus is always intended to be the center of every episode. Donnie just zeroed in on raw feeding which he is strong in sharing. I am grateful for that though. So we will be working out our "groove" in the coming episodes no doubt!2. Ezra did whine through a lot of the podcast this time - which he's never done before because usually he's with King and Donnie in another room. We made the mistake of putting King in another room because we didn't want them to get into one of their LOUD wrestling matches or tag lol. So when Donnie was talking I was petting and stroking Ezra, and when I was talking Donnie was, but if we forgot him for a moment he'd whine. He wanted King in the room too so that's how it will be going forward - King Bubba and Priest Ezra TOGETHER. 3. We left out a whole lot of the middle because honestly, some of our story is just not so pretty unless viewed through the lens of the Cross of Jesus Christ - which not everyone will do. So there you have it. Fridge's Story: https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/2015/10/a-tale-of-three-dogs-part-one/ Fridge was such an awesome dog and we felt it was time for him to be included in the list of our amazing Teacher Dogs - of which they ALL have been and continue to be. In fact, they will ALL (current dogs and angel dogs) be doing the blogging for me on my blog! Shadrach impacted so many that often when I share his photos on FB, I get so many saying how much HE helped them - yes him not me. So I aim to allow them free rein! This is Episode #193, Season 4. This time I go back a few years in time to share what will help us segue into now, with vibrational wellness. Teaser: "I had to ask myself the following questions to move past the fear and resistance to receive the vibrant health and wellness I was being offered for Shadrach, myself, my husband – and every future dog that has since come into my life. Our mind and emotions play a huge role in this. I have seen it over and over again that fear causes others to attack the message and the messenger that is actually the lifeline leading them out of danger into the wellness zone." This is Episode #188, Season 4. This is the story from my book, Animals Taught Me That, on my absolutely amazing, awesome, authentic Neo Mastiff Shadrach. When this book was written in 2009, he was still alive. Shadrach passed away April 5, 2011 but he is ever in my heart and ever my inspiration! Quote: “We may pass through the fiery furnace, we may pass through deep waters, but we shall not be consumed nor overwhelmed. We shall emerge from these trials and difficulties better and purer for them if we only trust in God.” ~George Q. Cannon Scripture: Daniel, Chapter 3 - Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego! NOTES In this episode, I share a deeply personal account of my experience with Shadrach, our Neapolitan Mastiff. I recount the challenges of helping Shadrach acclimate to a new environment, battling health issues, and the struggles of establishing a routine, especially around meal times. The narrative unfolds as I initially regret my decision to bring Shadrach home with us, but eventually I committed to providing him a loving and supportive home. Listeners will gain insight into the difficulties Shadrach faced, from training struggles to health concerns, including sleeping issues and occasional distress. As the story progresses, Shadrach’s health gradually improves, and he becomes more energetic. I reflect on the impact of conventional treatments, questioning their effectiveness and advocating for natural remedies and whole health. This sparks a larger conversation about the importance of natural animal health. This episode concludes with my realization that Shadrach had been impacted by health issues despite being vaccinated - THINK on that! The narrative touches on an incident involving a lost dog, highlighting Shadrach’s strong personality and the lessons learned from our journey together. Ultimately, the episode highlights the profound impact Shadrach had on me, leading me to pursue further education in animal health and help other pet owners. The themes of natural care, resilience, and the deep bond between humans and animals are at the heart of this narrative Link to my book: Animals Taught Me That You can receive my Be Well book in PDF for free when you sign up for my newsletter. In my allegorical book, Be Well, Shadrach is known as Bright One. Teaser: "He didn’t understand why the humans were always so angry at him, or wouldn’t feed him when his young belly was aching with the need for food.
