Jim Bequette long editor for SHOOTING TIMES magazine and Jim Block have been friends since grade school, and that's where they first talked about some day hunting buffalo with rifles just like the buffalo hunters did back in the 1800's. On a recent trip to the Choctaw Hunting Lodge in Oklahoma owned by the Choctaw Nation Larry had a chance to visit with Matt Gamble who heads up the wildlife conservation program for the Choctaw Nation talking about such species as eastern wild turkeys, black bear, whitetail deer, as as bats and butterflies, as well recruitment of hunters on tribal lands.
