The Sam’s open with Ipswich, Leeds, and Southampton all winning twice while Foxes dropped 2 points at last place Wednesday. QPR is almost out of trouble with a couple of big wins. League 1 has seen Pompey move back into first place. Not much changed at the top in League 2 as everyone drew over the midweek. Premier League Matchweek 35: “I had a Sandwich!”

The Sam’s open with Arsenal’s big North London Derby over Spurs, continuing their hold on the top of the table. Everton find themselves now safe after their third win in a row, despite 2 point deductions. The relegation zone has taken its first club with Sheffield, as Burnley, Luton, and Forest battle for the lone spot for safety. Villa gives up a 2 goal lead to Chelsea but gains another point lead on their fight for the Champions League. This mid-week the Sam’s open with the shocking result in the Merseyside Derby with Everton beating Liverpool, practically securing safety and dashing Liverpool’s title hopes. “The Social Media Department Chose Violence” Premier League match week 34

The Sam’s open with the relegation battle as Luton suffers a huge defeat, Burnley might have played themselves back into the fight, and Everton with their backs against the wall find a way. Arsenal and Liverpool get wins while City has a FA Cup semi. Despite really deserving it, Villa continues their play for the Champions League and Man U advanced to the FA Cup final. This week both the Sam’s suffered crushing defeats. Man City takes control of the league as Palace and Villa hand Liverpool and Arsenal massive losses. Newcastle find themselves right back in the hunt for Europe by manhandling Spurs. Don’t look now, can Chelsea sneak into Europe after beating Everton 6-0. The Sam’s open with a change at the top of the championship as Leicester won Leeds lost and Ipswich lost in the Old Farm Derby 1-0 to Norwich. Portsmouth is getting closer and closer to not just promotion but winning League 1, while Carlisle United gets the dubious distinction of being the first club relegated in all of professional football. Premier League match week 31 “Hot Fire”

English Premier League Midweek games did not disappoint, and Chelsea Man U was wild. League 1 could be decided this week as Pompey gets ready to host Derby, it would seem the playoff is mostly decided too. Leeds take over the top spot in the Championship as the Foxes, the Tractor Boys and the Saints are all in striking distance. Pompey continues to lead at the top of League 2 as it would seem only Derby is in the hunt. Premier League match week 29 “At some point somebody should punch a horse”

This week the Sam’s open with Luton Towns roller coaster of a week. Losing to Bournemouth, drawing Forest, and then seeing Forest get a points deduction. The FA Cup was fantastic as Coventry advance to the semis, City and Chelsea advance but the Northwest Derby was a banger of a match as Man U beat Liverpool.
