Do you see burdens or blessings? I challenge you to quit looking at things from a human point of view and ask God to help you see things from His point of view. It’s the point of view that points to life.
If you are not following the instructions of Jesus concerning life and death, then it will simply be a very sad ceremony. It will be quickly forgotten. I pray that your funeral will be a celebration of life.
You can never find real joy outside of fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. It’s the best therapy, medicine, motivation that you can have. Let God’s purpose move you to what God wants you to be.
Prepare every day this week for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and Easter and celebrate that Jesus is alive.
No human construction can be totally secure. The most important rooms you have are not on this earth, but are the rooms that God has prepared for His children in eternity. Read John 14:1-3.
Are we putting first things first? Jesus reminds us to seek first God’s Kingdom and all you need will be given to you.
God can move you to a new community of faith where God and His people can give new life and a new future to you. Make the move today.
A lot of people lose things that are very important like their direction, purpose, or faith. Sometimes they need a friend who can help them find what ought to be obvious.
Don’t try to help remove a spec from someone else’s eye when there is a log in your own eye. Start at home and it will be much more effective with people who really need help.
You are just the right age to meet some need that will improve your community. Just do it.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew that if we can’t forgive others, God won’t forgive us. Forgiveness folks forgive.
The bells are still there, some of them just are not ringing. What can you do today to invite someone to go to worship with you?
Unity and mutual respect are far greater than arguing a personal opinion which might or might not be right. Treat others like you would like to be treated.
The best way to live is to be your real self and don’t try to disguise yourself as something else or someone else.
Not just for the kids, but for all of us, we need to leave a lot of things at home. God has available “locks.”
“Covid taught us that we were absolutely wired for community.” We discovered that relationships are important. This is not an advertisement for malls, but it is an urgent plea for increased positive relationships.
Often times in life, we need to do more things that are inconvenient in order to make our lives and the lives of others safer.
He said his plan was, “to return home by ship so people can see it coming over the horizon.” How many places you visit is not nearly as important as the difference you make while you are there.
A wedding creates a brand new family that never before existed. Remember what’s important about a wedding and marriage.
Love is the best weapon to bring about desired civility and honor among all people. That’s not metaphorical and an idea that is not just for Missouri but for all states who desperately need it.
