Paul calls us out on our self-righteousness. Don’t be like verse 3, but be like Jesus in verse 4
God gives them over to degrading passions bc of their lack of fear or acknowledgment of Him, embrace their sin

Gods wrath is revealed against all of us due to godlessness and in righteousness. But through God‘s creation he reveals things to us about himself, and this is called natural revelation. As a result of this natural revelation there is no excuse for us not to believe in or search out God.
