In John 21, the disciples are out of position, in disobedience and they're caught in the tension between returning to normal or going on with the plan. You may be caught in this same tension. Do I allow my determination to overrun my fascination? Or do I return back to this place of extreme tenderness? Return to fascination and tenderness, it always leads to more of Jesus. When you and I begin to make the shift from a love that’s only for those who are like us and into the true definition of love Jesus taught, we will begin to see real change in the lives of those around us. It becomes the gate by which true transformation and repentance can come - simply by having a Christ like love.

Re-Identification is personal and Reclamation is missional. Inside of these two ideas, there's a marriage of personal transformation and missional impact. This revelation is revealing to us that from this season forward, it will require our real identification to travel. Without it, we're tied to ground transportation. Under an inferior covenant, with only a type and shadow of Jesus to come represented in the ark, David finds himself full of thanksgiving and dancing as he returns the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem. Now, we’re learning that we have a dance unlike David’s—a dance he never could dance.
