I never really paid much attention to Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices: until Synology asked me to check out how one of their new models, the DS920+ (now available on NewEgg.com). In this first episode to Daniel's Tech World I explain what makes a NAS different than a regular server from a hardware perspective, what you can do with the DSM software that comes installed with it,  and what — after a couple of weeks of use — I've b been won over to the NAS cause (with some reservations).
