Hello friends. It's been awhile. I recorded this on Friday after work and barely getting to upload this Sunday evening. With COVID-19, work has been crazy and it's not letting up! I do wish I had more time to devote to this podcast but sadly while this COVID craziness is here, it will remain this way so I will do my best to be more active. Anyway, in honor of my favorite actor's birthday, Ian McDiarmid, who turned 76 on 11 Aug, I decided to do this episode for him, about him and to honor him. We all know him as Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars franchise but in fact, McDiarmid is an accomplished theatre actor, former artistic theatre director, TV actor and film actor. I do talk a bit about what's going on in my side of the world for the first 10 minutes, politics wise, and the rest of it is for him. I do have an almost 3 minute "disclaimer" after the podcast episode. I do get questioned by folks about my geekdom for Palps which I neglected to mention but I do give an explanation.
