The race that Christians are engaged in running. After one is saved through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for their redemption and forgiveness of sins, then the sanctification process begins for that believer for the rest of their life on earth. The Apostle Paul speaks of this process as a race that we are running as believers which has to do with exercising faithfulness in what the Lord has called us to do.
